Pearl Jam headlining Heineken Jammin' Festival in Venice

Pearl Jam announced today that they will be headlining the Heineken Jammin'
Festival in Venice, Italy on July 6th, 2010. Tickets on sale now at
TicketOne.it.

*Ten Club will not be holding a pre-sale for this festival.

    AEROSMITH, GREEN DAY, PEARL JAM and SKUNK ANANSIE are the first confirmed bands for this year's Heineken Jammin' Festival, set to take place July 3-6 at San Giuliano Park in Mestre, Venice, Italy.

    The acts' participation in the event was announced today at a press conference in Mestre attended by Massimo Cacciari (mayor of Venice), Gianluca Di Tondo (marketing director of Heineken Italy), Roberto De Luca (CEO of Milano Concerti / Live Nation Italy) and Massimo Venturini (president of Municipalità Mestre Carpenedo).

    I must admit I am not 100% happy about this new...I would have prefered Udine for the Italian date since I do not like festivals. Anyway I will go....!!!!!!

    im not trying be a @$$.....but when an announcement such as this comes down....shouldnt 10c members recieve an email ?

    because i have not recieved one. luckily i surf the pit quite regularly but then i get to thinking about those 10c members who are not active in teh forums or on the PJ website..they are left in the dark without the email. or maybe the email has yet to be sent,. sorry if this seems to be nitpicking

    I have just booked our accomodation.
    But I still have to cancel the reservation in Udine. ..
    But going back to Venice for the 14th time is worth every unpleasant moment for me!

    Yeah.. you put it in the bank.. which generally takes ANOTHER day to clear on your card... Sorry but not everyone follows the beast that is the credit card industry....

    I agree.. but the whole thing makes no sense to begin with.. Its contrived so people can't understand it , Not all these people who are in debt til they're dead x10 can be complete idiots.. whatever.. im not complaining.. i'm not even going! I just think it sucks and ten c used to give people time to collect thoughts and funds.. but i forgot.. if you say anything thats not sucking up you are crucified and censored here.

    im happy that im going back to the venue that cancel and make me and alot of people so sad that day..
    but thanks God we didnt injure, me and my Sister and her Husbad that day..and most of the people they did are recovery...Now is the time to have some fun ,see the best Band in the world live in Venice
