    Kat,
Is there any chance of a confirmation that this is the full Euro tour confirmed now, that no further dates are likely to be added?

I know I am pushing my luck, but it may help people decide what shows to go to, or indeed to put off making that decision :D

Not a chance... Unfortunately i think they've caught on to that and realize that people obviously would rather do shows closer to them.. but the last few years we are faked out. A random festival show is announced and of course, like the sheep we are.. we think oh no! This is the only show near me! So we get tickets , then the next day other shows are announced that make way more sense to attend and we can't because you just sank 300 bucks into some lame festival.. I think they do that so they will sell more tix to festivals, considering most people i know would much rather see them in a non festival type setting..

don't get me wrong, but tickets for the heineken festival in venice cost 60 bucks which isn't that bad for one festival day! i can remember tickets for last years pearl jam only show in berlin where about the same, so in my opinion its not very expensive (for the venice show)

    Hi,

can someone please give me some advice where to leave my car in Venice (I will be arriving from Ljubljana - Slovenia), which bus or train to take to get to Parco San Giuliano and when exactly will PJ start to play since I am not planning to take the day off at work.

    Thanks.

    Katja
u can park near the Central Train station in Mestre which is close to the center of the city..from there there are buses to the venue.,im taking bus from there as well.
Mestre is the city where is Parco San Giuliano and its close to Venice

hey dimitris, so there is enough car parking space at the central train station? i was in venice in 07 and remember that it was pretty tricky to find a place for your car to park.

I must admit I am not 100% happy about this new...I would have prefered Udine for the Italian date since I do not like festivals. Anyway I will go....!!!!!!
Udine was a festival too (in a Stadium), and even more of a pain to get to than Venice.

I'm passing on either anyway (already been to Venice last time.. a pain if you want to be up-close you need to be there first thing in the morning for the damn wristband) and going to go surfing in Portugal waiting for the gig there instead :P

    we stayed here:

    http://maps.google.com/maps/place?cid=2 ... 3SNbjgkLQG

it's on the long island "Lido Di Venezia" south east on Venice. You get there via waterway and it was cheaper than staying right in venice and it's also walking distance to the beach which was nice... rooms are small, but you should be out on the town and stuff anyway...

i so wanna go back and buy more venetian glass.
    i like sound...

AEROSMITH, GREEN DAY, PEARL JAM and SKUNK ANANSIE are the first confirmed bands for this year's Heineken Jammin' Festival, set to take place July 3-6 at San Giuliano Park in Mestre, Venice, Italy.

The acts' participation in the event was announced today at a press conference in Mestre attended by Massimo Cacciari (mayor of Venice), Gianluca Di Tondo (marketing director of Heineken Italy), Roberto De Luca (CEO of Milano Concerti / Live Nation Italy) and Massimo Venturini (president of Municipalità Mestre Carpenedo).
Thanks but why is PJ fan club web site always late to the party?? I never ever complain about this but this topic been up all day on the PORCH.

i thought aerosmith broke up after tyler went to rehab??? or are they just replacing tyler? did they?
