Agreed, seem there was a flaw in the vinyl pressing which caused that issue in the song as well.0 -
I just transferred all of my xmas singles to FLAC and MP3 as well if anyone is interested in my versions. They're very clean. I sent them to gremmie and they may be using them.
EDIT: They are now available above!Post edited by Evacuation Rules on0 -

Are you looking for an MP3 or FLAC?
It's not the greatest sounding record, very compressed and flat sounding, but I think I got the best out of it.0 -

Flac would rock. I would love to get new sources in flac of them all. Would be a great community project.0 -

It's done...all I have to do is upload. Then if you wanna collect some other sources and figure out which ones are best, then go for it. I know at least that my transfers are better than the ones (currently) on Gremmie. Some of the Gremmies are similar to mine but they're often grainy from too much click reduction. I removed the clicks from mine by hand. Let me know if you want me to upload my FLAC's and I will. Maybe I'll start a new thread to distinguish them from the others. I was going to make artwork for the set, but maybe I'll just leave it up to you guys.0 -

Definitely upload flac. I am game for it. Everyone gains from it and it's a great share. LMK whatever I can do to help. Anything is better than the outdate sources we have now.0 -

What would be the best place to upload it, so that I can get the most downloads out of it?0 -
I did not get a chance to upload the cleaner Christmas Singles last night and will not get to do so now until the weekend. But when I do I will make sure everyone is aware. I spot checked a sampling of 5 of the mp3's. The ones sent to me by JWBusher are cleaner, but the difference is not substantial where it would make you go "Hey!". Meaning, since it's so easy to delete old ones in place of new ones, most will do it, but you probably won't notice the difference after a while.
Regardless, it is much appreciated that the community is still contributing to gremmie.net. Thanks.member number: 198,xxx0 -

I would use sendspace or megaupload. Sendspace is better because it takes 300 meg files.0 -
Thanks for sharing this collection! I can just download and import directly into iTunes?"I'm just feeling so tough with my ukelele...my badass mother f'in ukelele" EV 8/7/08 Newark, NJ0
