  • Might be able to! My friend might not be able to go, but I posted that I prefer to take someone I have something in common with! Plus I am a White Sox fan! :/ and start school the 25th down at ISU

That would be great! I recently graduated from school (Purdue) and definitely still party like I'm there. I'd be happy to buy you a few beers at the show for your generosity. Send me a PM if you have your extra.

Maybe I can talk you into becoming a Cubs fan too!

That would be great! Not the Cubs part, I would give you both my tickets if you could talk me into it. But the beers part would be great cause Im 20 1/2. Would the even be selling beer at the Auditorium Theater and allow them on the floor?

EDIT: how much alike are we? we both started our posts with "That would be great!"

I can guarantee you that they will not only be serving beer, but they will have a full bar....I went there for Widespread Panic earlier this year and the bartender told me that those concerts set the record for beer and liquor sales at the Auditorium....I think the Pearl Jam fans can beat the snot out of those hippies though!

And i could bring them to my seat!?

Yeah, the first night we saw WSP we were first row on the balcony where we could see the entire main floor, and my buddy looked at me and said, "I dare you to find one person in this venue that doesn't have a drink in their hand" I don't think I could.

That is verrry true, but at the age of 14 or however old I was, it wasnt the 'coolest' thing to do!

I actually got tickets to N2 :D - after the Vic fiasco last year I was expecting the same result. I'm so ecstatic!

My heart stopped beating at 5 PM. I clicked the word "tickets" a couple of times to refresh and had to locate where the tickets would show up. They appeared 2nd from the top. I accidentally clicked on N1 - sold out - felt punched in the gut - quickly refreshed -clicked on N2 then the Buy button-added to cart and checked out. Could not breathe and believe my good fortune until I got the email even though I saw them in my profile. I'm rambling but am still having a hard time believing this!

i got no BUY button!!! im salt. Thank God for my shitty paying ass job, and and its beautiful perks, thats all im saying.
But I've seen several shows there and I was never allowed to bring drinks inside the theatre. I've never been to a real "rock" concert there though so I suppose they could change the rules.
It's going to be amazing there, its one of the nicest theaters in all of the chi

  • I will be driving up to Chicago and was wondering if anyone had some info on the city. It is my understanding that Chicago has fairly good mass transit. Could I stay in the outskirts in town and take mass transit in and out of the show or do I need to drive to it?

It depends where on the outskirts you want to stay. I would go to http://www.transitchicago.com and check the el train maps. If you're out near o'hare or midway you can take the blue or orange line downtown to the show.

Use priceline and stay somewhere in the loop/Mich ave area. You can get rooms for under $100.
