  • this is show number 8 first show i ever got fan club seat for and i won the fucking lottery was in section 102row 10seats 5-6 the show was fucking amazing will never for get these shows in philly met a hell of a lot of cool people It seams that PEARLJAM fans really take care of each other
  • I know I'm a day late but it took me this long to recuperate. This was my 13th show and I'd have to say it went to the top of the list as the best one yet. I was at show 2 with fantastic seats (sec 216 row 5), got to hear No Way and thought night 3 couldn't be better. Boy was I wrong!!! Seats weren't as good (row 20 on the floor) but the setlist made up for this 10 fold. Tremor Christ & Deep were 2 song I've always wanted to hear. This show rocked from the moment they stepped on stage to the moment they left. Had some great people sitting around me. The dude next to us brought his little boy to his first show. This was the coolest kid ever!! He was singing along to most of the song at 10yrs old.

    Amazing show!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This show was amazing. I went Tuesday night and this was so much better. the energy in the crowd was purely amazing. They played just under 3 hours of awesomeness. Also an amazing set list. this was my 3rd time seeing them and i really wanted to see alive live because they didn't play it at the other 2 shows i went to. And when it came on i went nuts. Also the people around me were awesome. everyone is just there to see Pearl Jam down on the floor they don't care about anything man. It really does show how good we all get treated and how much we all do love Pearl Jam. I was on he floor but in the last section row six. but its nice being 6'3" lol i can still see everything. But good job Pearl Jam i love you guys.

Tonight Ed called her up and she got to see the show from the side of the stage. This ment everything to her! So for me that just made tonight extra special.

    Ed CALLED HER UP!!!!?!

Epic show...I almost wanna say better than State College '03. I thought Wed was amazing until last night blew the nuts out of it. A little ticked i'm not there tonight...i thought i had tix for the final Spectrum show until they announced two more. Bastards. Haha. I was in 107 for both shows and yes, I was one of the giants in row 9 (white hat). Sorry for blocking the view...i hate being that guy but it's also great to be able to see without a problem :D

Which row? I was row 10, seat 8....wonder if you were the one in front of me. :D

Row 9, seat 10. There was a dude just as tall as me to my left but yeah, i was the culprit. Sorries... :D

Difficult to find the words for this night-simply unforgettable. Tremor into Untitled (my first !!) into Hold On was sick, but the whole night just built on itself. We were behind the stage and thankfully were surrounded by fans who had been to several shows and were exuding good energy. The view was incredible and I loved how Ed often turned around so acknowledge us all. I get chills thinking about how crystal the sound was at certain points and Matt's moves on In my Tree were clutch. Boots of all of these nights are a must own. Not sure what makes a perfect setlist or perfect transistions from one song into the next but from first note to last there was no missing it, no beers, no bathroom breaks and no holding back.
got a car...got some gas...oh let's get out of here-get out of here fast...
I hope you get this message but your not home...I will be there in just a minute or so...
I want to go but I want to go with you.

I've had enough, said enough, felt enough. I'm fine, still in it.
  • I just have to say after the 31st show and a day to recoop, Night 3 was still untouchable for me. First of all, me and my friend won the lottery. FRONT ROW. We could not believe it. It was incredible. Then to top it all off my friend gets pointed out by Ed and he gives him his tambourine, and we both got mccready picks. Unreal night, Absurdly good setlist, finally got Tremor Christ. Best Show Ever.

What an incredible show - Breath, Deep, Hold On. Too many highlights to mention.
I wish they would fix the set list for this show in the tour section of this website -- they skipped the final three songs. I know it doesnt matter, but i like checking out the stats! While they are at it -- please add the Beacon show from 2008!

Hey -- I was the old woman with the pretty daughter who was sitting to your right. We really enjoyed talking with you, and you are so nice for apologizing for being tall! Don't worry about it -- you were a nice fan. We tried to get tickets for last night, but struck out. Definitely getting all of these boots, though. Hope we see you at the next tour!

  • I know what you mean about withdrawl! After nights 3 and 4 I'm feeling a little sad just sitting at home tonight. Even though night 4 was spectacular for its own reasons, I really feel like night 3 had such an amazing energy. They were only my #7 and #8 shows, but WOW! I feel so fortunate to have attended. Can't wait till they come back again!

Well, I am home - back to Ontario.
I flew with my son (13 yrs old). it was his first time on a plane, subway, hotel, taxi, and concert.
I told him it was too bad in a way, because his first concert would be the best he would ever see.
He loved it, we had an amazing trip, rockin' out to what was an incredible show with an incredible crowd. My 9th show and I can't really rank them anymore. We just flew down for Friday's show, saw some sights walked the streets ate good food in the city of brotherly love and away we went.
I had a feeling Friday nights show would top them all and I think it did.
Such an intimate feel in that venue.
Highlights for me were Footsteps which was so sweet and perfect, Hold On which Eddie insisted they would fuck up but they played it perfectly, Unthought Known which cured me and will again, Deep, Habit, Cropduster (what a trio that is- holy shit -not even in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that combo - and Cropduster is an INCREDIBLE song with incredible lyrics and it had the crowd singing. It is one of my favourite PJ songs), Light years, Parting ways and Baba O'Riley was so perfect it was nuts. Alive was nuts. Everyone was beat by that point but fists were pumping in the air on and on and on.
Booms Crazy Mary solo was like lightning.
Without Pearl Jam the human world would be pretty dull.
It is such a priveledge to see them.
I've taken two of my sons now.
One more son and two daughters to go.
then I will be a successful parent.
Thanks PJ and ten club- Great seats too
  • What an awesome show. THANK YOU PEARL JAM FOR PLAYING:

TREMOR CHRIST! (Happy to hear this gem for the very first time. Eventhough Eddie mess up the lyrics it was still a delight!)

    Untitle
    HOLD ON!
    Parting Ways
    Light Years
    Footsteps
Sonic Reducer always a pleasure to hear.

This version of DEEP was incredible. I can't wait to get the bootleg. It was a very loud night. Not too much were I was siting but over all inside the venue. :D
  • i want to thank eddie and the boys for putting together 1 of the worst set lists in rock and roll history. what a disgrace!! did not want to go to the last show because i had to work the next day but if i would have known they would throw crap out on friday night i would have stayed home. i have been a fan since the very beginning but they should be ashamed to shovel this crap on fans who pay a lot of money

Nice first post from a "fan since the very beginning." Hope you save your money and bitching next time they come around. If you'd read through this thread at all, you're truly in the very, very small minority. Everyone else seem to me to be true fans from the beginning who had the night of their life. Shame you can't see it that way.
