just back at the office from the first 2 shows.

Picked up my tix around 4ish for night 1 and lo and behold, raffle winners. Sec 103 row 2. When i found the seating chart i almost shit myself!

    WHAT A SHOW!

    thanks a bunch 10club.

    PS

wore my yankees fitted BOTH nights. Philly fans are not as ravenous as i was told, just a few comments from a few 200 plus pound philly chicks but other than that, no problems. lol

Many thanks to Dan/BraceYourself for his spare for 10/27. A great show in good company...and it didn't hurt that we were seated next to arguable one of the best looking and nicest young woman in the Philly area! 10th row Mike's side - closest ever for me. A great show! Dan - hope you see Lauren again!!!!!!!!! :D
I love to turn you on
  • Awesome does not begin to describe it...

Took my good friend to her first show and she actually spontaneously cried. She is now hooked.

Heading back for the two hour drive to Philly in a little bit.

Great time before hand meeting some amazing people! (You know who you are)

That spontaneous crier would be ME. There are no words to describe my reaction. Have been a fan since 91....and now, 18 years later, after my first show....I am transformed. It's evolution, baby!
It just gets better and better.....

  • Great Night! If only I could see
I was in section 105 row 10 on the floor and I happen to be pretty short. Everyone in front of me was very tall. I watched the entire show on the big screen.
Wish I could have stayed for the other nights.
Mankind made me happy. The last time I saw it was at Randall's Island in 96.
Have fun in the land down under Eddie :)

    Night 1 .. Section 225 .. Row 6 .. Seat 2! :D

First night of the Philly Experience! Man was I blown away. Sitting next to Lisa, Samia & Eli, we had Mike's side. The whole show, I would say 90% of the show, Mike was alway's looking @ us. He was on fire. Samia got a percussion that night. Ed came up close, but Mike was flirting with all of us. If the railings wasn't there, he would of came up with us. :)

I had just got in Philly @ 2pm. Was delayed in Toronto cause the tires on the plane had problems & the weather was not doing so well in Philly cause of the rain. But made it through. Dropped my stuff @ the Radisson, and took the subway. Wearing my PJ hoodie, got to meet somebody on Facebook I never met before. :) We walked to the preparty & it was just intense. Hugs & kisses, stories & moment's that totally was in a state of shock, a shock of happiness. McFaddens was a great place. It was great we did the preparties indoors. Like a sign, cause it was raining outside that night.

After the show, we went back to McFaddens. A Tribute Pearl Jam band was playing. It was pretty sweet. I haven't seen one since No Code played @ the NYC1 '08 preparty. And being with friends @ a bar & can talk about Pearl Jam and anything else, made me so happy of life & all who were around. A great night & a great start of an amazing week of Pearl Jam! :)

Thanks for one hell of a ride PJ. Can't wait for the next 3 shows! We are def. getting some rarieties. Wonder why they didn't save Ghost for Halloween? A really excellent show tonight. Ed's vocals were flawless. Love Reigns fuckin tore the roof off!

Couldn't have said it better. I got chills during Love Reign O'er Me.

Yeah, it did. I don't care for "Green Disease" or "Unemployable," but the band sounded so good that I found I enjoyed those songs as much as everything else they played.

"Immortality" remains the standout song from night 1 for me.

I guess I'm a little late on this but I was there and it was AWESOME!!!! It was my 1st time seeing the band and if I could have picked from the songs that they only played once in the 4 night run, I would have picked all of the ones from the 27th, Leash, Nothingman, RIVAL!!!, Mankind, faithfull, immortality, bee girl, GO WAS AWESOME!!!!! for the 1st half of the song Eddie was on the floor and the only time we could see him is when he would kick his feet up when he would do his screams before the choras. I would also say that we got the coolest of the 4 posters!

Wow. Listening to the Modern Girl tag and weeping. The crowd singing along (what other fans know another band's song so well?)...beautiful.
