chiquimonkey wrote:good point. no way they could announce smaller venue shows without it turning into a bloodbath for fans fighting for tickets. and locals would be more likely to get shut out as a result. as it stands, it seems a lot of folks going to these shows are local (at least that i can tell anyway!)
i'm happy to see ed for two hours, the idea of having the best of both worlds is fun to think about though
I think there is more people traveling to the Ed shows than you think. I am coming from Texas.
What if the April Fools thing is a make up from last years Bridge School. Ed with Jack Irons and Flea. No I don't think this is really it but would be awsome!!!0 -

obviously there are going to be some/many out-of-towners wanting to see Ed's shows (including you).
however, would you agree that the overall demand for a PJ-show in a small venue would be much greater than an Eddie-solo-show in a small venue?Everything has chains...Absolutely nothing's changed. - PJ

I completly agree. I think people would go nuts trying to
get tickets for shows like that. Look what happened at the Vic.
Sorry....I really wasnt trying to argue. Just saying there will be some tourtist

pjgarden and busted, i stand corrected then
i know if it was full on PJ shows then there'd be even more 'tourists' i'm sure!
it's gonna be good no matter what happens, that is guaranteed0 -
i guess i'm slow, but something very special may also explain the very restrictive camera/recording policy on this tour."and onward goes this thing of ours."

I want no one other than Eddie or Eddie + Stone, Mike, Matt and Jeff. Eddie playing with anyone else would only diminish the experience IMO.Steve

I think joke is on us for thinking that there's something within the name. We're getting all excited over something that might be and there's really nothing. April fools is always a cruel, cruel joke.0

The ticketmaster site shows "SPECIAL GUEST LIAM FINN" for the Vancouver show so I have to assume that Liam Finn will be there?..........hehe
Honestly i'm not worried or trying to figure out what other special guest will be there because i'm totally excited enough that Eddie and Liam will be there!
The way I look at it.........I'm the special guest that Eddie will be playing for!0 -

except , people are just reading WAY TO MUCH into it.
who knows though.
what if the april fools joke is not a concert at all, but just Ed, sitting there with a bottle of wine telling you his political beliefs.
which i would be cool with, but many would be pissed!!!!
which in turn , would be kinda funny. thats what ya get for buying tickets to a tour called "The Aprils Fools Tour". lol
j/k
or am i ?Peace, Love.
