I don't think there's anything more to the April Fool's moniker than acknowledgement of the timing, which is what it is.
Don't you think Ed's independent work and achievements for ITW warrant sharing a stage by himself on this brief tour?
No disrespect to PJ at all, but hearing his thoughts around this project, listening to the work, and knowing his passions make a small, intimate tour of Eddie exploring his muses on his own rife with beautiful and almost endless possibilities. It's clearly where his creativity is at in this moment.
I would kill for the opportunity to see this genius at work in a format like this, outside of PJ. There's plenty done and plenty more to come with Pearl Jam; this is a rare opportunity to see something beyond. I'm so jealous of all you folks that have tickets ... I'd trade a 2nd row Mansfield just to be in the back of the room at any one of these gigs.

thank you. i agree. your post is thoughtful and eloquent. i do consider myself lucky and will in no way be disappointed if the other guys aren't there. but i still make no apologies for my speculation--to call it the "april fools tour" and not expect our minds to wander is not realistic.
I know i bet some guest will show la should get alot but i bet that the boss will show for the van show since he will be there and doesnt have to be in la until the next day

You know who should make a guest appearance? Mr. Period and Mr. Comma in your post.
Haha! I'm just being a jerk. Sorry!!

I can't imagine anything more beautiful than that right now, ESPECIALLY after hearing about his West Seattle shows.
