Unthought Known, definitely.
Force of Nature is growing on me with every listen. I think that, for me at least, this will be the "Inside Job" of this album. At first, the opener was reminding me too much of Pink ("Let's Get This Party Started" or whatever that song is called), and I was not paying much attention to it, but it is seeping into my brain and taking over.
All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.
Just Breathe or Amongst the waves....can't decide. The only song I am not diging is Speed of Sound....feel like they could have taken this in a different direction.
Impossible to pick one right now...the trio of Just Breathe, Amongst the Waves and Unthought Known is some powerful stuff....couldn't be happier with this album.

I think this thread pretty much clinches that Pearl Jam is better at the slow to mid-tempo songs. Songs like Gonna See My Friend don't need to be made anymore. Great album!
Favorite so far - Speed of Sound - like the album version better than the demo, even thought the demo is great too.
Well "auto"biography would be written by one of the band members themselves... so no. But there are some biographies, like "Five Against One" by Kim Neely which I suspect is mostly speculation and not much meat. The author really works to feed the idea of strain between Stone/Eddie.

yeah, definitely don't agree with you. Gonna See My Friend, Got Some, Johnny Guitar, Supersonic are all fucking greating songs... if you ask me. Got Some is a very strong song that I think no one is talking about too much because we've heard it for quite a while now, but it is just awesome live!

haven't decided, but it's between Gonna See My Friend, Got Some, and Supersonic. i'd say the fixer, but i think it's only cause it's the song i know best and i'm just really comfortable with it. maybe that's a little bit with Got Some and Supersonic too...so i'm saying Gonna See My Friend, but subject due to change

I don't agree, I think 2 of that type should have been put on this record and noone would have felt it short!
