    Come Back is pretty badass to. Listening to Backspacer has made me appreciate Avocado even more actually. It just has more of a "heavy" feel to it. I think Got Some belongs on this record, Backspacer is much to happy for it.

    for me the happy feel of this record is a breath of fresh air. No politics, no ranting just good music. There is something to be said about being happy and it's good to see the band in this place for once. Their mood on the record transcends to my mood when I listen to it and I find myself feeling good.

    Well said. I've been feeling good for the past 3 hours, cos all I've been doing is spinning the cd. Since I dont know the songs properly yet, I haven't at outright favourite but right now I'm absolutely loving Amongst the Waves, Johnny Guitar and Got Some. Unknown Thought is super cool too! ;)

    Lets be honest this whole damn album is quite good.

    Unthought Known is the peak...

    Fucking gems and rhinestones people! The drums build with the piano riding right behind to a crest and the guitars come crashing in. Eds voice sounds great. I love how it then touches down softly. This is one of Pearl Jam's best songs to date. Its brilliant.

    The beaty of this album is that you can play it from start to finish in a short car ride. You can listen to it over and over. Every song is great. There's not one "meh". I love it

    I saw Eddie sing 'Unthought Known' at NJPAC in 08.
    AND... saw him sing 'The End' at the Tower Theater- Upper Darby PA this year....

    Both AMAZING!!!!

    The Fixer has grown on me.

    Unthought Known is leading the pack right now but Force of Nature and Just Breathe are right there with it. There's not a BAD song on this album though....all good to great to absolutely amazing to mine ears

    EDIT: DAMN!! I left out Amongst the Waves...
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
