if anyone is going down ebay route, message me. I am shameless and don't care if I feed the devil, but when it comes to it, I want the experience of pj. Not a bitter feeling towards touts or ticketweb.

Hiya Wash_, that is cool, I totally understand the need to see the band over anything else but my personal feeling, having been a gig goer for over 20 years now, is that someone has to say no somewhere. If people did not buy tickets from Ebay touts then they wouldn't sell them - simple as. It's about supply and demand. BUt at the same time, I wouldn't judge anyone else who did - my partner has bought tickets from Ebay before so each to their own :-) I just can't do it anymore - I won't support them profiting from other people's missing out.

this is hard to judge either way, I totally admire your standpoint, but when you are really desperate to attend its very difficult.

Oh, turns out my friend got tickets in level 3, but she doesn't want to pay 90 quid for nosebleeds so she's offered them since she knows Im a PJ geek. So not ideal, but at least I have tickets now. I went to the astoria, so quite frankly I'm more worried about special songs being played than it being a small venue.

I'm really annoyed that again, like with HMV, I didn't get the buy button until after others did. I never saw it until 9am and I was trying from about a quarter to. I wonder how that can be... how could people join the queue minutes before I even saw a buy button? Grrrrrr

  • I cant honestly believe it.

I actually got through to Shepherds Bush Empire this morning. They were taking all the details and then all of a sudden i got "Sorry its all sold out now, so your order will not go through". Disgraceful.

Please, should anyone have any spares please let me know if you would be willing to share your PJ experience with me.

    Regards.

I noticed everyone is selling level 2 or 3 and stall standing. Level one will be for industry people but you'll never know they might release some in that area the night before the show

I'm totally gutted about missing out as well. Had 2 tickets in the cart in 3 different windows as well, before the epic FAIL!

Bright side is at least I'll have MEN and O2 to look forward to.

I was lucky enough to be at The Astoria show, so I guess it's someone else's turn. Although it's double gutting having known how good that show was.

I have a spare O2 ticket if any kind soul wants to swap for a Shepherds Bush.

Cheers dude, I've never felt so guilty for being so lucky :(

For what it's worth, I would definitely keep checking back on ticketweb from time to time, it's not unheard of for small batches of tickets to go back on sale, usually if people's credit cards have been declined.

    Just a thought ...

Seeing as this is Shepherd's Bush .. what's the betting on a little show up from Mr Daltry / Mr Townsend ?

no luck for me either!! :(

what i don't understand is i'm the only proper pj fan amongst my friends (my husband likes them but that's cos he has no choice but to hear them on a regular basis!!) :D but it's very rare i meet a random who likes pearl jam, i usually get the response of "oh are they still going, thought they only released TEN" so where are all the pj fans suddenly coming from!!

hey ho... it's not all bad as i have tickets to see them at the O2 on the 18th Aug. :D:D:D:D
  • FOLKS please remember to put your requests for spares and offers of spares into the allocated thread on the other board - for our lottery :) That way at least we know some of us will be going

Most of the PJ fans I have ever talked to are on here :-)

Most of the general public either buy them up as a re-sale op or just so they can go and see a cool band, there are other fans out there just not as die hard as us crazy folks :)
