I didn't have any luck, ticketwebs site is BS, kept getting kicked out saying 'oops this link is broken.' I got though on the phones at 9.15 only for the guy to say 'we only have level 3, I was like yeah anything, he then seemed to take an age and came back to say they're all gone.' Sooooo gutted, I've been a fan of this band since 92, ten club member since 93, travelled the world several times to see them and can't even get tickets to a local show. I have to say I really think TC should have sorted their UK fans out, there's only 800 or so of us would it of really been that hard!My PJ shows:
London 28/10/96, Las Vegas 11/7/98, London 29/5/00, Nurnburg 11/6/00, Prague 14/6/00, Salzburg 18/6/00, Verona 20/6/00, Milan 22/6/00, Zurich 23/6/00, New York 8-9/7/03, Boston 11/7/03, Reading Festival 27/8/06, Shepards Bush 11/8/09, Berlin 15/8/09, Manchester 17/8/09, London 18/8/09, Dublin 22/6/10, Belfast 23/6/10, London (HRC) 25/6/10, Alpine Valley (PJ20) 3-4/9/11, Manchester 20-21/6/12, Leeds 8/7/14, Milton Keynes 11/7/14 To be continued....0 -

pdh1978 wrote:Out of interest, can everybody post the approximate times they joined the ticketweb queue and whether they were successful?
I joined at 8.50, and, well, am still in that queue at 9.30...
To be fair I went to the queuing link at about 7:50 when I woke up, not sure if that's what made the difference, but I did notice that even if I closed the page, when I re-opened it I was still in the queue, all very strange.0 -
got in the queue just before 9 and on another window just after 9.
think i got to the 'proceed to secure checkout' with the feckers in my basket on the queue i joined before 9.
i'm at work in a university with a fuck-off fast internet connection so they can't blame connection speed as a reason!Oh yeah? Well, I've had about enough of morons and halfwits, dolts, dunces, dullards and dumbbells - and you chowderhead yokel, you blithering hayseed, you - you've had enough of me?0 -
but i couldnt get the buy button until around 8.55 to join the bleeding queue and I was freshing from 8.30!!!0

Hiya Wash_, that is cool, I totally understand the need to see the band over anything else but my personal feeling, having been a gig goer for over 20 years now, is that someone has to say no somewhere. If people did not buy tickets from Ebay touts then they wouldn't sell them - simple as. It's about supply and demand. BUt at the same time, I wouldn't judge anyone else who did - my partner has bought tickets from Ebay before so each to their own :-) I just can't do it anymore - I won't support them profiting from other people's missing out.0 -
Man, some of those tickets are selling for more than I have to live on for a month... :("We get these pills to swallow... how they stick in your throat... Tastes like gold..."0

i have bought tickets off ticketweb before and the website constantly crashes0

this is hard to judge either way, I totally admire your standpoint, but when you are really desperate to attend its very difficult.0 -

They also seem to be sourcing them from the promotor, WTF? How do we get these shut down, report to TC?My PJ shows:

Oh, turns out my friend got tickets in level 3, but she doesn't want to pay 90 quid for nosebleeds so she's offered them since she knows Im a PJ geek. So not ideal, but at least I have tickets now. I went to the astoria, so quite frankly I'm more worried about special songs being played than it being a small venue.Paul

I'm really annoyed that again, like with HMV, I didn't get the buy button until after others did. I never saw it until 9am and I was trying from about a quarter to. I wonder how that can be... how could people join the queue minutes before I even saw a buy button?
