Will ticketmaster even have any? The gig isn't listen on their site. Niether is it in HMVs ticket section. The only site that has it listed at the moment is ticketweb :?
  • Hi guys, back home and I've updated the list of those wanting tickets.

i dont like the ratio of like 1000 people wanting to 3 spares

This is a concern at the moment... However from the positive response this thread has recieved, and the many selfless fans who despite having tickets, are trying the general sale anyway in order to give spares to this thread, fills me with hope that this is going to work, at least to some extent.

Just call me The Fixer :)
  • Ok, I'm thinking of making some updates/amendments to the first post.

Firstly, the number system is pretty useless at this stage, everyone is a number 7. There are a few that did not enter the 10C presale lottery, but most people seem to be of the opinion that this lottery should be kept only for those who did enter this presale but did not win a ticket. Please feel free to disagree with me, but it is the general impression I have gathered over the course of the last few pages. So I suggest we remove the numbers.

Secondly, we had decided on this before, but thought I should mention it again before I put it in the first post. I am about to update the first post with a sentence informing everyone that the list for those 'wanting tickets' will be capped at 9am tomorrow (Thursday), and after that no more people will added to the list. This will inevitably disappoint some people, but it seems the fairest option for those on the list currently to get a chance at getting a spare.

Thirdly, I was thinking about adding an ending date for this lottery. On this date I will write down all of the names on both the 'wanting tickets' and 'have spare tickets' lists, put them in two separate hats/containers/whatever I can find, and pull out at random two names from each hat and match them up. This seems currently to be the fairest method. I will film myself doing it and put it on YouTube to show you all. Before it was mentioned that this lottery should be a week after the general sale tomorrow morning, thus giving us a week to get spares available. So how does Thursday 30th sound? Please feel free to suggest another method of drawing tickets if you can think of one.

Fourthly, I will add a clear sentence that reiterates the fact that this lottery is for UK/Ireland members only, and that any spares going are to be sold at face value. I've said it before, but we're not here to make money, were here to make this the best Pearl Jam gig possible by filling it with fans who truly deserve the tickets.

Finally, a plea, many fans who already have tickets for themselves are taking part in the general sale tomorrow in order to give the spares to this lottery. This is an amazing, selfless thing to do, and I encourage as many of you as possible to do the same. I know if I successful tomorrow the tickets are going straight up for the lottery.

Again, please criticise/advise if you disagree with anything.

Thanks for the support everyone, and thanks to everyone who came up with ideas and changes for this lottery.

  • Brilliant work, you deserve massive respect. What do you mean by everyones a 7 i am on the list (i think) but haven't ticked any boxes etc.

Dont think i could agree more on your proposals, you have put a lot of effort in for others regardless of how many of us make it on the day, top work!!

Sorry if I didnt make it clear, I meant to say that everyone will fall into category 6/7 -
    6) A 10C member, who DID NOT win tickets in the lottery, and is looking for a spare ticket.

    7) A 10C member, who DID NOT win tickets in the lottery, and failed to get HMV/O2 presale or general tickets.

Therefore at this stage it doesn't really make any difference.

Ames can you add some info to the first post about where everyone should be looking for tickets tomorrow? Right now, i can't find any listing for the general sale tickets on Ticketmaster or HMV, so I have no idea what's going on. The o2 Priority ticket listing disappeared yesterday as well. Do they normally just add it just before they go on sale? The only one that seems to exist right now is on Ticketweb. It'd be handy to have some info on the 1st post about which options there are for getting tickets tomorrow.
  • This is an awesome thread and an absolutely fantastic idea

At the gigs I have been too I always feel like PJ fans are different to fans of other bands I like and this proves it once again. Awesome.

Any chance of the draw happening on the 29th though because I'll be at a festival in Knebworth on the 30th!

Ok I'll stop being cheeky now...Good luck tomorrow morning everyone!

  • Once again AD, you rule :-) That all sounds spot on!

I can no longer find HMV info and they were useless on the phone today. I haven't been able to get any info out of Keith Prowse either and even ITB (the booking agent) has not been able to provide any further info. I have checked on seetickets, TM and others and the only link I have been able to find is the Ticketweb link. The Shep Bush site itself redirects you to Ticket web too. I am still waiting for a friend to confirm if they could find the o2 link on their priority booking thing but despite me messaging them at 8.30am today they still haven't responded, so so far, I think Ticketweb are our only option.

My tickets are STILL in the HMV basket, might I add! DENIED!

o2's priority tickets are looking doubtful at the moment. Ticketweb does seem to be everyone's best bet, but yeah, good idea, I'll add that to the main post now.

I'm actually going to Sonisphere too! But I'm not going till the 31st, and its my girlfriends birthday on the 29th, so the 30th is the only day I can do it, unless someone else would like to do it if the 30th is bad for a lot of people?
  • don't feel that you have to change things on my account AD :D

go ahead with it on the 30th I'm not a lucky enough person to win anyway.. and hey.. if i did win.. you could always let me know via text at sonisphere if i PM you my mobile!

Great stuff AD. Putting it on YouTube is a brilliant way to make sure we don't get scammed. Which I am sure we will not. Thank you to all the members who are giving up spares, they will be going to good homes! I am going to try Ticketweb tomorrow and any other means possible! I will hopefully post soon after depending on work.

Cheers guys and have a good evening. Fingers crossed.
    :D Rock on!!!! :D
Seen Pearl Jam 4 times in London, once in Manchester, as well as an Eddie show at Hammersmith.

Hi, not sure what the final decision was regarding the criteria for entering the lottery for spare tickets so thought I'd just post and you can decide whether to put my name down or not. I'm a 10c member BUT a brand new one (Monday, yup that new!!) so couldn't enter the lottery. I was unsuccessful with the HMV presale and there's no way I can get internet access tomorrow morning. Would love to go to SBE with a friend who is a longstanding diehard PJ fan and 10c member and still desperately trying to get hold of tickets after being unlucky in HMV and 10c lottery, so, if you do put my name down and there are enough tickets, could I be really cheeky and ask for two if possible ;), one if not. Thanks and hat off to you for organising all this, great forum.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow morning.

Hey guys... I know this has been discussed, but i'm still a little confused....

Exactly what sites are the general sale tickets being sold on??? I've just looked on HMV and Ticketmaster, but there is no mention of them, or when they're being sold. The only place I can find that is selling them is the SBE website. If anyone could direct me to other sites via some links or something i'd be eternally grateful!!

    Cheers :)

Nice one mate... for some reason Ithought ticketweb were selling them at extortionate prices! Why is there no mention on the HMV website? We already know they're selling them!

Who knows, the whole thing has been a real fiasco! I don't know why Ticketweb, HMV etc feel the need to advertise so 'obviously' about such a small show (check out the ticketweb home page!), it's not like it's not goanna sell out instantly, and now every bugger's gonna find out about it!

Yeah exactly what I thought when I just went on the home page! I think our best chances for getting tix were on Tues. Gotta try though! Thanks for your help. :)
