First post has been amended. Only just woke up....I hate working till 4am lol.

So I was, unfortunately, one of the many who has been disappointed by HMV and also didn't get lucky in the lottery. Well done to those that did, but please remember that if this system is going to go ahead, we need more spares.

At the moment, we have 3 potential spares, and 60+ of those in need.

I'm going to put this to you guys, but do you think we should put a cap on the number of those in need? Say as of 6pm tonight we do not accept any more offers to be added to the list? Otherwise after the general sale on Thursday this thread will be inundated with hundreds of people without tickets. It will not be the end of the world for those not involved, as there are obviously other means of obtaining tickets.

Let me know what you guys think, and please those of you with spare tickets send them this way. Congratulations so much to those who have already. You are officially a better human being than this bloodsucking bastard.......

nope HMV will be selliong floor too.....basically the venue is almost all floor, and tenclub will have gotten a very small percentage of it, the usual rule is 10%
  • Give me some votes people, who is for/against putting a cap on the wanted list before the general sale?

Obviously many on the list will be removed once they get tickets in the general sale, but we will have a fairly large number of fans on this list as of tonight, and at the moment at least, not many spares.

Midway down, HMV is also an option, but we are all aware how shit their ticketing system is.

Ticketweb is owned by Ticketmaster so there will be some on there too probably.

I'm betting seetickets will get a few also.

I'd say set a dead line, a reasonable on like 6pm on Friday, for all entries. Some people don't get all the internet access they'd like and it needs to be at least a day after the sale so everyone can work out exactly what they have. People like me are still waiting on others to tell us if they want our second ticket, too. Not everyone knows if they have a spare straight away.

I'd make it clear that you need to have been in either the orignal HMV or 10C pre-sale and send the confirmation e-mail of that to the seller. The people who have been suffering these last days should be given priority.

Also, it should be clear that it's against 10C policy to make money out of this, just so that there are no arguments later, it could turn into an ugly situation if people don't realise we are helping each other out not trying to make a buck, so I'd just underline that. FACE VALUE or GIFT only.

I fully agree. Were not here to make money, this is about keeping tickets out of the hands of touts and in the hands of deserving fans.

And yeah, I think those who have suffered through not getting tickets the last few days also deserve priority.

After Thursday morning, we again need people to post in this thread if they-

-want to be removed from the wanted list
-want to kindly sell a ticket to a randomly allocated fan on the list
-and then if we put the number system into effect we can see those who are truly deserving (ie. missed out on HMV, 10C general sale)

I was considering grouping together those in category 7 to have priority of allocation, while this defeats the idea of a random drawing, it does get tickets to the fans that can prove they have attempted, and sadly failed to get tickets through at least 3 methods.

Obviously I want to make this as fair as possible so if anyone has any suggestions or disagreements please let me know.

this makes sense.....and means there wont be a mass of people making the list, as not everyone will have tried tenclub for tix or HMV......obviously people who post here too have to be tenclub members so it wont necessarily open the flood gates too much

as much input on this as possible is needed, because I will of course like to see those in group 7 get looked after, basically because i'll be in that group but that doesnt mean my preference is right...a little debate is needed so we are seen as being fair to all.

People who post in the forum do not have to be tenclub members, you can sign up to the forum without being in the fanclub.

I'm for it, at least those in on the list have a reasonable chance

Should we, as i shit suggested, make it after the general sale, or before? It all depends on how many spares get sent this way. If there is still 3 for 60+ people then it hardly seems worth it.

In my opinion, we should put a cap on the wanting ticket list at 9am tomorrow, when the general sale starts. That way we can remove the lucky ones who get tickets, and can start adding more spares from those generous enough to give them towards deserving fans.

We should not cap the spares list at all obviously, because the more available the better. I think then leaving it a few days till the draw is the best idea, as more spares may turn up, perhaps draw the tickets Thursday 30th (a week after the general sale)? Or leave it a bit longer to see if anymore spares arrive?
    Does this seem fair?

that seems fair, but I'd do the draw no later than a week after......the spares will have surfaced by then i would ahve thought, the excietment of this is so great

Personally, thinking about it, I'd only have 2 groups of people: those who entered the 10C lottery and those who didn't. Because:

    - There are a number of people who claim not to have received the e-mail link from HMV, so they won't be able to prove it either way if they were in that auction or not. They would lose out twice!
    - The album went on sale through the goods section before the HMV announcement. A lot of 10C members will have buoght it here first, in multiple formats. Some people won't have had enough money to by a 10 quid HMV copy, which they already knew to be superfluous, especially as they knew tickets would somehow be available here.
    - Anyone who failed in the HMV pre-sale would have had a chance to enter the lottery here, as the lottery at 10C closed at 5pm yesterday and the HMV sale was in the morning. If they wanted tickets, they could easily have had a second bite at the cherry here.
    - Also, I doubt there are many 10C members, if any, who entered the HMV lottery and not this one.

Therfore, I'd put the HMV thing out of your mind and just have two groups, those who were in the lottery here and those who were not.
we're all going to the same place...
