yeah, i missed out, like i missed out on the astoria...
Ever heard of supply & demand?
do the maths & think of how many PJ fans you could fit into the place before you had to sll to the public?
and don't we deserve to be in there? we're in the fanclub, but obviously that means jack shit
The fan club can't fill the WHOLE VENUE. This is an HMV Exclusive event, so they got a good amount of the tickets to sell themselves. This show would not be happening without HMV.
I know you are pissed that you didn't win the lottery, but the 10C can't be blamed here...

I am over the moon for all of you who DID get tickets and really sad for those of us who didn't, including myself!
Fingers crossed for next time - is it too much to ask 10c to maybe keep a note of who won tickets this time so that those who didn't may be considered as priortity next time? Or is that unfair of me? I can't decide
I didn't expect to find myself lucky enough to win. What I did expect was an email confirming my success or failure. I am active, I am here, I tried my luck, I ordered O2 tickets and STILL can't get an email off tenclub even though I have authorised the emails through hotmail's shite filters. Well done to everyone who got a ticket for this show, I am sure you are going to see a great great night. Sick to my stomach that I am not there, even sicker that I am not worthy of a reply on ANYTHING from tenclub
The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist

I'm sorry, but you're wrong... the fans should always come first, and yet again, they haven't....
i'm not saying that the gig shoul dbe solely of tenclub members, just that they should have the proper chance to be in there... all of them, not just some randoms.......
i'm bored of this now, i need to go to bed.... it's been a very dissapointing day

I have to say, in all the posts that I've read on the Pit over the years, I don't remember coming across one that was as illogical as your post (above). You are obviously very disappointed, so perhaps going to bed is a good idea.

We all had the same chance dude, why do we always need to blame, we are lucky that standind is 10c. thats amazing. alot of other bands dont do that.
Congrats to all of you who got LUCKY and wish us all luck for Thursday.
What's the point of being in the fan club if we can't get fan club tickets? I thought that was the whole point. :?

Id love to buy 2 x spare tickets anyone may have, i lost out on both the lottery and the HMV con? and i dont really trust E-bay right now aside from not wanting to line tout's pockets.
Got 2 tickets which is great as my mate missed out. Returning the favour from when he got 2 for the Astoria. That's 1-1 Nige!!!!!!

I am truly grateful to be lucky enough to have managed this.
I'm so sorry for everyone who lost out, because I know how awful I'd be feeling.
I'll be trying in the general sale for at least one of my friends and if I'm lucky that'd leave me with one spare, or two if she gets lucky too. I wish everyone the best in the general sale!
Hello there my Chorzow buddy!
115 bucks for half a haircut by a novice? I want my money back!
I'm sorry, but you're wrong... the fans should always come first, and yet again, they haven't....

In an ideal world, yes, the fans should come first, and these small venue treats should first be offered to fan club members.
In the real world,
1. O2, in the guise of Academy Music Group, owns the SheBu Empire
2. HMV, as the only high street music specialist, has a near-monopoly on what music is being sold
I'm not entirely sure how HMV managed to sort this deal out, being that they're affiliated with MAMA group, with their own chain of venues that are in competition with O2/Academy's chain. Either way, this is clearly a promotional strategy employed by the band's management- any 10c allocation was always going to be tiny when these 2 conglomerates have such a big investment in the ticketing process.
For a 10c show to go ahead, it would mean them paying full cost to hire out a venue then onselling the tickets to members, rather than the standard practice of charging the promoter/venue (a distinction that is increasingly blurred) a fee, with a proviso for a small section set aside for fan club members, with the ticketing agency then deciding whatever the fuck to do with the tickets.
Basically, it means that setting up 10c-only shows would be seriously expensive for the band, unless they charge much more than what the current price is.
