Yep just called here too (you actually have to call Ticketmaster Customer Service!) and she was quite helpful but said nothing in the system (so no tickets sorry dudes!) so the money should reappear on the card in next day or so.. and if not to call again.. pffftttt. Not impressed.

To see this is actually devastating. I know that kind of shit always goes on, but this is even more of an insult, after trying three times to get them...

I've counted around 15 pairs on ebay, and as I type there are 13 pairs on viagogo.com and 26 tickets on seatwave.com.

That's 82 (about 5% of capacity) minimum being touted, not to mention those that will be touted outside the venue.

It's a pretty shit situation, and it looks as if this is where the market is headed.

    See Trent Reznor's excellent write-up here: http://forum.nin.com/bb/read.php?59,548515
or BBC article suggesting prices should be raised(!) to stop touting: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6477325.stm
And I just found this article that states a figure of 5% as well. Hmmm...: http://www.app.com/article/20090629/OPINION01/906300317/1029/OPINION/Tsk++tsk+on+tickets
If you all stop hitting refresh for just two minutes, I can buy my tickets...

It says at the top of the page that your tickets are secure for 15mins and yet once I pressed place order I was told that there was no tickets! This was at 9am and they had me buying the tickets- I couldnt be more p1ssed off!!!! From reading here though Im not the only one who had problems with the site!

Raising prices for tickets, that pretty crap in itself. I recall Madonna charged £175 per ticket at O2 in June or July. That would be unfair too in my view. It penalises the fans

I didnt even think to check the bank account. Had aleady rang to give out that when something is in your shopping cart it should be IN YOUR SHOPPING CART! Also explained the way that it says your tickets are held for 15mins while you process your payment and they hadnt a clue about that on the phone- told them they should really sort it out!!- "sorry but nothng we can do" really isnt what ya want to hear! Gonna have to ring back again now to sort out the bank- god help whoever I get thru to this time!

I'd also like to help out in any way possible. We need to get a campaign going and keep it going. It sickens me how the government took action on the reselling of tickets for sporting events yet they refuse to do the same for concerts. I always suspected that sites such as ticketmaster we're making money by reselling tickets to a partner site.

When you phone up, which details do you need to refund money back from ticketweb?

I was using my folk's credit card as mine is maxed out...so I can't access online banking to see if funds have been taken.

They don't 'refund'. They will just tell you nothing has gone off the card because their computer system says you haven't bought tickets. It's my problem, not theirs. The computer system tried to take money, so it looks like it has gone but it really hasn't ?????

Then they will say wait a couple of days and see what happens. And maybe sorry...

For what it is worth, they just asked me for the long number on the card and the card holder's name

Theres a pair of tickets on ebay for £765. Thats f*ckin insane!!! And the fella selling them has the cheek to put in firstly that there face value is £40 each and then he also, as the picture for the item, has BEST BUY in big capital letters. Best buy me eye! Its not right that this kinda thing is going on! Is it not illegal to tout tickets?? You always see people getting pulled on it outside sporting events by the cops! This guy is actually advertising hes a tout by telling the face value and then his "best buy" offer of £765! Its cracked!!!!!!

As long as the money goes back I don't care...has this happened to anyone in the past and actually turned out ok? I've never used ticketweb before and not sure how legit they are on this sort of confusion.
