people are forgetting that MSG is being renovated this summer and it will be "bigger and better" (although the current MSG is beast), meaning a better sound system?
I'm saying "assuming" there might be an MSG show, but besides MSG a NY show is very very very possible.

i don't think NY will be seeing pj this year. i wish we were, but i highly doubt it. and while i personally would love jones beach, i really, really, really doubt that!
Chicago and Toronto in August...New York State (buffalo, albany, rochester) or Pitt are right in the middle...so why not come down to NYC to play?

I simply think they're gonna not do NY area until next year. They've not alluded to it, and they're about to announce West Coast and Aussie and Philly, so... there's only so many days in the year. I could be wrong and I hope I am, but I just don't see any info pointing to the northeast.

believe me, i appreciate your wishful thinking and of course none of us *know* and while i would love for it to be true....i just really, really, reaaaalllllyyyyy doubt it. i think philly in october is as close to home as we'll get. however, i STILL want to know ALL their plans for 2009, b/c even if there are shows further from home, they might work out to be more desirable to me, tho philly is looking the most likely scenario for me...
nah no MSG this time around it's all good though, i get to travel & see meet new Pj fans from other states def would love to check out some west coast shows so i'm happy for them & philly ....

My 2 cents (as if anyone cares) that it probably is a one-time NE thing just to close the Spectrum-they really do love it & it's longtime connection to music & basketball. Sure we'll see more of a tour Summer/end of next year after record & if we're really lucky here in Philly, more shows.
At least 3 or more shows @ Spectrum yield better shot @ tix than 1 or 2 in Camden, plus I get to stay on my side of bridge/less travel (slightly!) Just happy
