    Good morning prepartiers! There's really nothing new to update y'all with this morning. I did receive an email yesterday from Sheri Bancroft, camp co-director, letting me know that there were over 140,000 homes w/o power in Memphis. This happened Friday afternoon. She also said that the last time this happened that the city was w/o for a week. Let's hope the electricity is on by next weekend!!!!

    I'm in the process of trying to figure out which items are going to be auction items & which are going to be for the "Thank You" drawing. Our entertainment will start around 4pm & are playing us 2 or 3 songs. The band is one of last year's camper band. I'm going to see if I can't find out what they are calling themselves now. I was told that they'd changed the band's name since last year. As soon as the ladies have completed their set; the drawing & auction will begin. I would like to have this done by 5. This way we can all go get out tickets for the show.

    Also, I have several folks promising donations. If anyone has decided what they are donating please pm me with your decision. This would a great help in putting together my inventory.

    Thanks to everyone of y'all! Y'all are why this party is going to be a success & be very profittable for The Delta Girls Rock Camp!

    Wow Mindi! I'm thinking your items are sounding like some great autions items!!!!

    I hope this solid turn out is ready to spend some money for a very worthy cause. The young ladies that we are helping are from the "Home of Rock & Roll". They are the future of Memphis' rich musical heritage.

    Congrats Eric on Albany's great success! I just hope the rest of the parties on this tour are as successful! Go Wishlist Team!!!

    Exactly. :) I saw so many people get shwasty in LA and literally pass out during the show. One of them was next to me. It was my roommate. She's not invited to Tennessee. :lol::lol:

    Also! I have at least 6 PJ bootlegs to donate to the unraffle: '98, '00, and '06 it looks like.

    After talking to Melissa on the phone today I'm even more excited!!! She made it seem like Memphis is quite the city to drink in after the show. :shock: Don't forget to pack your liver!

    There are SO many choices! I like Dave's, Silky's, The Rum Boogie, & BB Kings. Dave's & Silky's have huge outdoor areas. BB's always has some great live music. The Rum Boogie is always fun..... but, small.

    I looked at Mapquest and it looks like everything is within walking distance (Hard Rock, The Orpheum, Beale Street, Westin) so no need to worry about drinking and driving. Bring on the after parties!

    I just found out that Lamar Sorrento has finished our painting. I should receive a photo of this in the next few hours or so......

    Also, The Hot Pink Paperclips will be doing a 3 song set for us. This is the camper band I've mentioned previously. They've been working very hard to impress us. Be prepared to get your socks rocked off!
