oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Al is in Monday afternoon. Are we all staying in the travelodge near the venue?

You'll be steaming by Monday afternoon so you'll be buying everyone pints!

Al! If the weathers like this on day of gig, I recommend we all invade Shambles square just behind the arena...three or four pubs with a largish outdoor boozing area...if not then the witherspoons on deansgate where the night before people are meeting should be fine...

The only problem with Shambles square is that it gets stupidly busy, might not be to bad on a Monday afternoon though.
    Astoria 20/04/06, Leeds 25/08/06, Prague 22/09/06, Wembley 18/06/07,

Ain't gonna be any middle anymore.

    How many sleeps?? 55 !

Was at the MEN last night for Kings of Leon. Amazing fucking show. Best ive seen for awhile. Good job really as tix were an arm and a leg off ebay. Acoustics had me worried tho, which were shite for Glasvegas, the openers, but were fine for KoL. Always thought acoustics were fine there in the past. We got NIN there in 3 weeks then PJ.

Top tip for MEN goers (with standing tix): ignore the loooong queues for ale upstairs...go down to the arena floor and theres a bar tucked away down on the right hand side. Gets busy during show but for pre-show drinking once in arena, cant beat it.
