I think I'm going to try to do my own poster for one of these shows. Not on Artpad, but an actual screenprint. I'm taking a week off to focus on printing, so maybe I'll make this my project!

its a camera phone picture, my real camera is busted.

Problem is I have a gap inbetween the poster and mat, it looks weird, even if I have it perfectly centered there is a gap on each side:

WHAT SHOULD I DO? Take it to a pro and have them cut up a new mat and slam it in there?

This is how I ordered it from Americanframe.com...maybe I should have double checked more on the sizing :( my bad

You might have to take it to a shop or something. It's strange that it turned out that way. If you just need a new matte cut, it shouldn't cost too much.

this was the free mat they offered. The other you mentioned would be at least 10 dollars more.

i wasnt kidding when i said i was colorblind :o

my GF would have final say on any color combinations :o , hee hee

    thanks for your advise .

D'oh. Sorry! (about the colorblind thing)
As far as the $10 extra, the acid-free mat is worth it if you want your poster to retain any value later on. If it's not acid-free, it can discolor your poster wherever it comes in contact. Just something to think about.

Yeah, maybe a second matte, a red or black one perhaps, would look nice around the outside. The photos were kind of tough to see because of the phone camera, but from what I could tell, that might look good.

As Methane did for Leg 1, is there going to be a poster for Leg 2?

I think the Methane poster was for the entire tour.

I don't think it was. It has My Morning Jacket on it, I believe. And the 2nd leg will be different openers.

They list My Morning Jacket on that poster and MMJ is not on this next leg. Just curious.

If they do, let's hope they learned a little bit from the first time around. The whole purchasing process didn't go so well. Well, at least not for some of us anyway.

Have you looked around ExpressoBeans anymore? I know you messaged me about it, but there are a bunch of other people on there who have it, too.
