I saw my x-girlfriend in the elevator - AWKWARD

I came back to my apartment and I saw my x-girlfriend on the elevator with me, just us two. Really awkward, haven't spoken to her at all for 5 months. We stood in silence for a little bit, and then she says "I was going through the pictures we took last summer and fall, I miss that so much."

What the hell do I say to that? So i just stood there and said something really dick..."you miss it now, you didn't appreciate it then."....she started crying

Whats YOUR most awkward moment in an elevator? haha....the only other time that comes close is when I was wasted and passed out in the elevator and someone woke me up and I didn't know where I was, hahaha

    Nothing really awkward has happened to me in the elevator really.

    But I was just going to comment on the fact that you ran into the ex. Surprisingly I've never run into my ex, which is probably a good thing, because I would love to give her a piece of my mind, but anyway....I'll just be quite now.

    Nice. I was always good at taking those shots too. Usually kinda regretted it though. I have no idea how I'd react if I bumped into my ex today... let alone on an elevator ride. Here's hoping I don't find out!

    it's hard to tell how you'd react.

    i had a pretty bad relationship w/ my ex (long story)---we were together for about 2 1/2 yrs or so. anyway, my wife & i just went up North to visit my family & guess who we saw in the grocery store? i hadn't seen her in about 4 years. she smiled and came up to say hello. i just turned around and walked the other way. my wife had no idea who that was until i told her. it was pretty awkward to say the least. there are a million things that i could've said, but it just wasn't worth it.

    Thanks for the vote of confidence :) I am a decent guy, I just also have a brutally realistic grasp of how petty and selfishly cruel people can be, especially in matters of the heart. I had to learn it the hard way... thus my own experience with taking shots at an ex that jilted me. I wasn't always as cold as I am now!

    i'll second that motion. i like your input to the relationships-esque posts. brutally honest for better or for worse. fair play.

    i have a few times said some absolutely cruel stuff to 2 of my ex's if they treated me badly. one i regret, cos i grew up and realised that it wasnt all her fault. had to man up, and apologise for how i talked to her.

    the other ex though, ugh....randomly told me the other day shes seeing someone new (i hadnt asked) and that shes happier than ever (we only broke up 2 months ago). she then said that if someone had said 6 months ago her & i wouldnt be together, she'd have laughed in their face. ...so i said....."stop talking horseshit. it was your decision alone to end it, so fuck you". and walked off. Mature eh?

    pretty unnecessary on my part, but fuck me, it felt great. bitch treated me like crap & then drags that up? fuck that. she's treated all her guys like crap, so she deserves to hear about it imo.

    PS: i have no elevator stories!!!
