    Last night my wife was DVR-ing American Idol, which necessarily meant that she had to change the channel from a tight Brewers-Pirates game (I know but wait for it). Anyway Idol is on while I am working on my dissertation, and, since this is the first time I've been in the room for a whole episode I begin to understand why it sucks so bad. Well it finally comes down to the result, and quite literally as TanQuest was saying and the "New American Idol is...David"... the show overruns, and the DVR stops the show...my wife panics and accidentally deletes the show, which immediately shoots over to whichever game comes on after the Brewers-Pirates on MLB Xtra-innings.

    I, of course, die laughing, but look up the winner online. She doesn't want to know, so I figure out how to get the show back on, but it's way too late. Anyway, she's still mad at me today for laughing my ass off, and picking on her for watching an overhyped "19 week karaoke competition". WTF!?!?

    lol, I love this thread because I have so many WTF moments.

    so a few weeks ago, i'm in the airport and I go to use the bathroom while i'm waiting for my flight. my sister is watching my bag which has my laptop and all my other shit. I come back 5 minutes later to find my bag OPEN and my 80g iPod, cell phone, and one of my watches MISSING. I told my sister "WERENT YOU WATCHING IT?!"

    she says she "didn't see anything."

    WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    My 11 year old daughter fell asleep after school today, woke up around 7:45 got dressed quickly brushed her teeth then came to my bedroom demanding to take her to school.

    I was on this board and got all confused thinking she had a concert at school and asked her you're going to play your instrument in your gym clothes? She yelled Dad I'm going to late and I was like for what, why do you need to go to school? She yells, to learn Dad, to learn!

    Finally I had to say what in hell going on here I think we have a failure to communicate.

    She thought it was 8:00 in the morning and that being time for school. She broke down in tears and all I could do was just hold till she stopped. :(

    Catholic School for ya, you can't be late for school. Just the overall intense moment i guess and the relief that wasn't going to be late. Also it didn't help that I was laughing my head off once i realized what was going on. :D
