Seriously....wtf?
I am all for finding the truth and sorting through propaganda, but these folks are loco.
I would like to wrangle them all up and take them through a tour of the Holocaust Museum in DC and then tell me what happened during WWII is being exaggerated.

Honestly, they're so ridiculous they don't deserve our attention.

You are right...I shouldn't give them any more attention but they just infuriate me.
    I just don't get it.
I am all for sorting through history and finding the truth, but these are undeniable events.

"...strive for understanding, but not justification."

I think we know why? That dosen't make it right, or any less of a fucking massacre.

I don't have a problem with that site.
    THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!

  • I didn't really know what I was supposed to be looking at Trix. But (heh heh not deliberately trying to be a pain in the ass) I saw this and wondered if this were the kind of thing they were talking about. There's always two sides to a coin.

'Revisionists object to the terminology, "THE Holocaust," which by implication suggests it was unique, monumental, over-arching, perhaps even the central historical event of our century if not epoch. In fact there have been many holocausts over the centuries, a good portion of them in our own Twentieth century. The Jewish Holocaust is merely one of them, and not even one of the more vicious ones.

From the point of view of the world as a whole it is far from the greatest or most terrible, Hollywood to the contrary notwithstanding. A marked improvement in both accuracy and objectivity can be achieved if the
term "Jewish Holocaust" is substituted for the term "THE Holocaust."'

But I'd never heard of this site before and I know someone that would love it!

yes because the herd gassing of around 6million people is looked upon as caring and considerate these days.

the holocaust was unique... i'm thinking back through my history education... and nope.. i cant think of a time when 6 million people were gassed or killed KNOWINGLY and PURPOSEFULLY in the last 2000 years let alone the last century.

Stalin killed millions of his own people... but they mostly died of starvation... men were not sent/ordered to kill them... Hitler did.

hey kell.. do you know David Irving ;)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

To be honest, I never take anything I hear as gospel but I've also never known anyone that died in the Holocaust. So... How do I know what I'm being taught is the truth?

If we don't watch out, Rwanda could become the next genocide.

You know what I mean. I didn't know anyone that knew anyone. My grandparents were long gone. I didn't want to upset anyone that had a story to tell.

I'm not sideing with anyone. I just meant, I don't know anyone who has ever been effected by the holocaust... and we're taught loads of things that years down the line have also been told to be untrue. But no, I understand what you're saying...

Sorry, Trixie. I didn't mean to sound so insensitive. There's just always a part of me that questions everything and if someone says one thing, I wonder who am I to say it's wrong?

you're not to say its wrong.. you educate yourself on the subject and then decide if you believe it or not... you dont instantly take a sceptical stance and assume it never happened?

    seriously? i'm aghast.

    you dont think it happened?

    i need to go there.

i've been to 3 or 4 holocaust places and found them to be utterly amazing but incredibly tragic places.

a work mate went to Krakow recently... i also need to go there
