I been invited to my niece's school to read some poetry to them.
It's the same jr.high school I went too.
This will happen, not sure when.
Coming up soon I am reading some poems to a group of artists
    and whoever else shows up.
This will be my first public event.(maybe sell a few copies)
I am growing a bit nervous as it gets near.
    Um, holy crap.

    :) That's fantastic chad. :)

You'll be great! I got everything crossed for you. :)

    That is way kick-ass.
A beautiful thing, sweetly said Earthlywoman.
Send away, I'll be waiting near my mailbox.
I'll pitch a tent in the lil grassy area of the post office.
It'll be like the time I camped out in line for 3 weeks waiting
    for those Star-Wars movies.

    And thank you.

    Tonight it is on.
    A group of artists
    and other guests
    get to listen to me
    read some of my poetry.

This is my first public reading of my poems.
    Kinda spooky sorta.
I know myself well tho, I have nerves of steel.
I'll be just fine, humor works well.
I am a jack-ass which makes things light and relaxed
    for me and for others.

I think I'm placing candles around the room for a cozy atmosphere.
    Freakin balls, yeah I am.

I must say I did a good job.
    It was fun.
    In a dimmed room with
    candles and oil lamps goin
my poetry was read to a
    small group.
    Even sold a few copies
    and gave away one single
poem to a lady that bought a book.

I wanna do this again and soon.

    Well done. :)

    Thank you MCKB.
It has been a moving afternoon.
I am impressed by this lady I spoke of earlier.
She's in her 70's and just full of intelligence.
    A very artistic lady.
Anyways, her getting 5 copies of my book is helping me pay my bills.

I read a short reveiw somewhere and it only said good things. (Can't remember where, now). :(

    Good on you bro.

    Thank you harmless.

    Depends.
I think to myself often about this.
I ask around the same price as a
bookstore does or an online.com does.

I myself don't get them for free.

My 2 author copies were free, that's it.
    Anymore cost me.
