I have been reading it slowly over the past two days. I tend to go back and read over certain ones again, which is why it's taking me so long.

I am not yet ready to list all my favorite poems of yours yet, but am compiling a list.

"My Feelings" is my favorite book of poetry now, thanks to you, Chad.

    Much love,

    Bu2 you're to much.
I'm very shy now, almost hiding here under the computer desk
but I can't quite fit and I'm about about to pee my pants.

And yes, you're correct in your info.
    Thank you very much.
Now excuse me please, I must go and clean myself up.

the other day out of the blue a person from my hometown (faraway) contacted me on myspace.
her & her friend both went and got their lil hands on my poetry book.
i had never heard of this person before.
she thanked me for inspiring her.
i was very thrilled, shocked, & humbled.
it was a very moving and exciting moment for both her and i in the trading of a few messages.

    i am honored....as always.
    it felt great.
she made my day as i was all smiles.

i just wanted to share this story with you fine & lovely people of the jamily.

    thanks :)

  • I have been privileged to get to know Chad over the past couple weeks and also honored that he has shared his poetry with me. When I saw this thread about his book (which he didn't tell me about...ever humble man). I knew that I had to order the book.

The book arrived a few days ago and I have read several poems and continue to be amazed by his gift. Chad is a skilled poet who can write a poem that makes you reread it again ....immediately... and find the nuances you didn't get the first time. It is poetry that makes you *think*... and reflect. Quite lovely.

Hey Chad, I eagerly await the next book.

    :)

Before heading to school this passed Friday morning (the sun hadn't opened its eyes yet) I got myself a Caramel Silk Mocha.
It was free, (but not really) I traded my book for a cup of fancy coffee.
By all rights the barista owes me about 10 bucks or 2 more Mocha's.
But it's totally cool, they are great and I am honored.
    Very honored actually.

Does any one know of a good publisher for my next poetry book?
I am not all that impressed with my current publisher.
I guess they are a stepping stone for me and that is great and I appreciate that.
I need some help finding a decent publisher so I am asking you people, maybe some of you know something I do not.
It has been about one and a half years since my first poetry book came out and since then I have written well over 1,000 poems, around 500 or more are book worthy.
I need some guidance and some help, please.
Anyone want a job organizing my piles of paperwork? ;)
I am at a loss at where to begin.
    Disaster I am. :D

edit: What I want to do is put all my poetry into a box and send it off for some very unfortunate person to put it all together for me.
I write the stuff but cannot manage the madness that is stacks of poetry.

What you need is someone to play Pound to your Eliot.

I'd be happy to oblige but I can't afford to donate my time to the reading and collecting of 1000+ poems :) Good luck though.
