Congrats, that is great. I will check it out. These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.0

but yeah, no better feeling in the world then to write something, and even if only one person likes it, its a victory.
nicely done at getting your research together for your book.
you're on the right track it sounds like to me.
what are you writing about exactly?
in the near future i am writing 3-4 books other than poetry books.
research will become a great friend to me.
what a crock of shit.

the book im working on now is kind of a action adventure conspiracy thing. lol.
every thing else ive written about, is stuff i really know and have lived, so not much research had to be done.
but this. woah! in this story the main character will travel all over the world, so yeah, i have my work cut out for me, cause i just dont want to throw shit out there thats not true. i have downloaded over 70 different maps to cities all over the world. lol. im getting kind of nit picky here
this is the first thing ive felt good enough about to try to get published. i have tons of short stories and a 2 and half other novels finished. but always felt the need to go back and self edit those. this one im excited about.Peace, Love.

sounds like you have your stuff in order and whatnot.
good deal on you dude.
and yes, if your character is a world traveler you will need to be very accurate in your story.
good luck dude.
i am full of book ideas.
i have an idea, one of many.
a book on a serial killer truck driver.
i know i have about 13 years experience driving big huge trucks around the country.
my dad worked at a state penitentiary for 30 years.
combine stories, add some imagination, and you got yourself a serial killer truck driver novel.
perhaps a series of books in a little collection thingy.
just a thought, i have a few pages already written, but put away, for now.
what about my viking war story/stories.
to write that i'll need to travel north to nordic norse fest 101.
which will be a flipping riot in itself.
a fucking hoot to say the least.
this shit takes years.
plus studying the rainforests of south america, peru and such, brazil...
im fucked..
but it has to be done, this writing stuff.
good luck with your future writings dude.for poetry through the ceiling. ISBN: 1 4241 8840 7

writersu wrote:do you guys ever get your heart beat all up in a flurry when you have to read your stuff in front of a crowd? I have read a few times, and each of them, I was anxious of course, but this one time I read a really serious poem I wrote at a eulogy for someone our family cared a lot for and knowing his wife and kids and extended family were there, I really got nervous. Plus, I forgot my copy in the car and had to read it from memory so I actually had to LOOK up at the people. It went well, and the funny thing is that when I saw all those people, out in the distance, they all were blurry. Has anyone else had that happen?
ive only read in front of the class and my heart does beat a little faster but im confident enough in my own self that the rush i get from hearing my words (though it could quite possibly be from the sound of my own voice ) cancels everything else out.

I have been reading it slowly over the past two days. I tend to go back and read over certain ones again, which is why it's taking me so long.
I am not yet ready to list all my favorite poems of yours yet, but am compiling a list.
"My Feelings" is my favorite book of poetry now, thanks to you, Chad.
Much love,

the other day out of the blue a person from my hometown (faraway) contacted me on myspace.
her & her friend both went and got their lil hands on my poetry book.
i had never heard of this person before.
she thanked me for inspiring her.
i was very thrilled, shocked, & humbled.
it was a very moving and exciting moment for both her and i in the trading of a few messages.
i am honored....as always.
it felt great.
she made my day as i was all smiles.
i just wanted to share this story with you fine & lovely people of the jamily.

I have been privileged to get to know Chad over the past couple weeks and also honored that he has shared his poetry with me. When I saw this thread about his book (which he didn't tell me about...ever humble man). I knew that I had to order the book.
The book arrived a few days ago and I have read several poems and continue to be amazed by his gift. Chad is a skilled poet who can write a poem that makes you reread it again ....immediately... and find the nuances you didn't get the first time. It is poetry that makes you *think*... and reflect. Quite lovely.
Hey Chad, I eagerly await the next book."you shall be released" ~ EV0 -
