Today I went out for breakfast, when I returned home, a message was waiting for me on the phone thingy.
It was a newspaper from my hometown way far away.
    I called them back.
They did an interview with me over the phone.
Then I emailed them a few different things they wanted.
    This is my 3rd interview.
    Holy smokes.

On a way bad-ass note, a copy of this book has made it's way to Brazil.
It's still only printed in english, for now.
I am hoping a publisher in Brazil likes my work.
They'd then contact the publisher up here, write out some legal crap,
    then it's on.
My first book, not my last.
    It is so flippin on.

    Congrats Chad.

I'd like to write a book, but holy fuck! That's a lot of work.

I don't think anyone would read my book anyway, haha. Nobody here anyway.
I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire

Thanks Jeanie! I'm not ready to write one yet though. I have a lot more to learn before I tackle writing a book.

Well you could just start writing it now. I'm quite sure that it'll change and evolve as you do. Writing books is like that. :)
A lot of great writers look back on their early stuff and feel the need to clarify or completely debunk themselves. I think that's what's so good about books. It's a reflection of the headspace of the author at the time of writing.
Anyway, you write it, I'll read it. :D

Yea, but it's a big endeavour. I'm torn between writing a Cognitive Philosophy book, drawing on the work of Crick, Koch, Damasios, Dennett, Churchlands, etc... and tackling some serious social issues in a scientific manner. Or writing a more personal autobiography, an account of events leading up to where I am at now and interweaving it with folk psychological concepts that stand up to scientific scrutiny. The latter might be more suited for the lay reader with a mind for fiction or drama. I just don't know, then I have other ideas for complete works of fiction with an interwoven moral lesson, but those are in their infancy.

It's all a lot of work and I've no idea where to begin, but I still need to read more. When I stop reading, I'll start writing :)

Second option sounds more my thing, but you're the one that's gotta be committed to the project. Why don't you just open up a word document and jot few thoughts down every day? You can read up on things as you progress. I reckon if you wait till you're finished reading to start you'll never start! ;)

I been invited to my niece's school to read some poetry to them.
It's the same jr.high school I went too.
This will happen, not sure when.
Coming up soon I am reading some poems to a group of artists
    and whoever else shows up.
This will be my first public event.(maybe sell a few copies)
I am growing a bit nervous as it gets near.

Send away, I'll be waiting near my mailbox.

    Tonight it is on.
    A group of artists
    and other guests
    get to listen to me
    read some of my poetry.

This is my first public reading of my poems.
    Kinda spooky sorta.
I know myself well tho, I have nerves of steel.
I'll be just fine, humor works well.
I am a jack-ass which makes things light and relaxed
    for me and for others.

I think I'm placing candles around the room for a cozy atmosphere.
    Freakin balls, yeah I am.

I must say I did a good job.
    It was fun.
    In a dimmed room with
    candles and oil lamps goin
my poetry was read to a
    small group.
    Even sold a few copies
    and gave away one single
poem to a lady that bought a book.

I wanna do this again and soon.
