yeah, i'm taking heart there's ticketbastard if things go bad tomorrow....i just have to make it to the berkeley one no matter what. it would be supremely remedial if i didn't go to that one....any closer and it'd be in my damned living room lol

Question: do you think it will be where we order the shows we want to go to at one time or they have be separate purchases. I think it will be the latter...

i was wondering the same thing, i was trying to remember with 06, did they have all shows available at the same time and you can check the ones you want, or was it getting shows individually as separate purchases? i'm girding my loins for separate purchases and just be pleasantly surprised if it's otherwise!

Same with- shouldn't question why it is done this way- you should be grateful for whatever tidbits might be thrown your way.

Obviously we cannot change Ticketmaster policy, if they are locked into agreements with the venues, and will release a small percentage of tickets for club sales.

However- we are the club.
No we don't elect officers or vote on policy and procedure.
However, instead of the Mike Meyers & Dana Carvey imitation of their Wayne's World lament we are not worthy, how about we think about improving efficiency and service in a way that increases level of equitable treatment & it shouldn't require either higher cost or more time.

I am assuming there is a reason why the tenclub receives a portion of tickets at all. Could it possibly be that the performer wishes to acknowledge the support of the fans? Could it possibly be that more fans would be acknowledged in this way, if tickets were limited to two tickets per membership account, rather than limited to two tickets per date?

If the initial estimate of 10% of seats per venue is accurate & going by a rough estimate of 2000 seats per theatre- that leaves 200 seats each show for tenclub members. Actually since it is 2 tickets per membership - then 100 paired tickets per show are available.

Are there really so many members who would rather have the chance to attend more than one show ( at at least $150 per show inc. handling fees), if fewer club members would have a chance to attend this way?

I know that shows are different- with different "special guests" etc.
But I also think that as many bona fide 10clubees, should have a chance to attend as possible.

With all signs pointing to how few 10 pairs they're even in a position to offer, I doubt too many touring people will have such quick hands and great luck to be able to snag any more two pairs across two dates, much less the whole thing.

I decided inspite of my better judgement, you have to live a little sometimes, and I am going to do my best to see Ed!! I need a vacation, I need good music..
