Eddie Vedder will embark on a small, west coast, solo tour beginning April 2nd
in Vancouver, BC and ending April 15th in San Diego, CA. The Ten Club has
scheduled a pre-sale for eligible members and we wanted you to be the first to
    know!

Ten Club pre-sale tickets will go up for purchase on
http://www.tenclub.net/goods/ beginning at 10am PST on Monday, February 18,
2008. There are a very limited amount of tickets, so once sold out through the
Ten Club, your next available chance to purchase tickets will be during the
    public on-sale.

    WHAT GIVES?!
I've been an member since 1993 and I didn't get this email. I also don't get emails when I get tickets, or several others that most get. I don't worry about it too much though. If you check on the board, you usually get the info you need. :)

I got the email awhile ago... is it a problem with your email provider? On another forum I'm a part of, there seems to be an issue with certain companies, whereas other people who use gmail, their school accounts, etc., never have a problem getting the emails right when they're sent out. Just a thought...
  • Ticketmaster sux, I'd actually pay a few more dollars from a Ticket Broker just to tell Ticketmaster, "Fuck You".

But the ticket broker gets the tickets from ticketmaster - so not sure the logic on that one.

It's not the Ten Club's fault you didn't get tickets.. It is a small tour in small venue's.. It is all about luck and fate.. 12,000 tickets with 100,000 Ten Club members that want them.. Do the math?
Buy the ticket, Take the ride..

That's not the point. The real issue is with the ticketing system (server). That and the fact that the 10 club didn't remove the buy links after the shows sold out. That is unexcusable and very poor business.

  • I got an email a few minutes after I placed my order saying they've recieved my order. The funds have not been charged to my Credit Card yet but they show up as "pending charges." Am I one of the screwed ones, or will these charges get on my credit card and I'll get the tickets? Anything I need to do?

Same for us!! We live in Kelowna, about a 4 hour trip to Van. Kinda lousy it's mid week, but what is vacation time for!!! And we have driven for the Seattle shows as well and have never had any complaints about the travel, too excited, that's what being a fan is about!!!

I totally agree with you...If I get lucky w/ Ticketmaster, I´ll take my vacation time to fly from BRAZIL to CALIFORNIA.
Most of you have shows in your backyards and still complain.
    I really don´t get this.

    Hey there,

I was wondering the same thing as you, but I just received this email about 10 minutes ago:

    first line:
"You were successful in securing two tickets to 4/2/08 Vancouver, BC show at the Centre. Here are a few things to know about your tickets:"

And from there it goes on to spell out the usual rules about picking up your tickets at willcall, etc. But it says nothing about the credit card charge. Not worried - I think we're safe to assume we have tickets with our name on them!

It is pretty cool. I went to Spain last summer and when I was booking the trip, the very next day, I found out PJ would be playing in Madrid the day after I arrived. Perfection. Was interesting to see the different kind of intensity of the crowd in Spain compared to the US.

Yeah, I've been fortunate enough to see PJ in a few different cities in Europe. The crowd and the energy are SO amazing compared to the States...I can't even describe it but it is so much better! :D

as previously mentioned, seniority will not come into play during the tour; however, 10C seating will be structured, 10C will assign tickets alphabetically meaning those with last names that start with the letter A will get the closest seats while those with last names that start with the letter Z will get the farthest seats from the stage, which will satisfy the randomness element (since it's impossible to predict which members were able to purchase tickets) and make the ticket distribution process a quick and painless one. tickets will be in envelopes as per recent PJ tours and the envelopes will be organized alphabetically at the Will-Call window so it won't be possible to see which member received which tickets until an envelope is picked up,...

I don't care what you think about the member # I have. That makes no difference to me either way. I was just saying that, I was bummed that I wasn't able to get the tickets that I was hoping to get. I never said I "expected" to get anything, nor would I ever say that. I was only mentioning my # to illustrate how long I've been a fan, and how long I've been in the fan club, and to say how disappointed I was that neither of those factors helped me out, in this instance. I wasn't slighting you, in any way, even though you seem to think I was. I have always been appreciative for everything I have ever gotten through the fan club.

then i clearly misunderstood you when you said "I have the lowest # in the Ten Club. It's sad that that doesn't seem to mean anything." because i took that to mean you were somehow implying that because you had the lowest 10C membership number you were somehow "more deserving" of tickets than others,...then again, isn't that what you were implying? you've touched on the same points in your most recent reply, "how long i've been in the fan club" and "how long i've been a fan" so should those two points mean to suggest you were somehow more deserving OR that you believe someone in your position SHOULD be more deserving of tickets then, say, someone with a higher number or someone that's "less of a fan" than you?
