That's been up for days now. It's probably season ticket holders.
i didnt say it was news, simply provided a link for the previous post which mentioned it,...

I am not a get-on-a-plane-for-a-concert type of person AT ALL. I didn't try for the Vancouver show because it's not Pearl Jam. Ed solo is not worth the money or time to travel to another country to see him. If he doesn't care enough about Seattle to play a Seattle show, then I don't care enough about his solo show to travel to go see it. If they add a Seattle show, I'll try for tickets.
and this is why my money is going towards the Foo Fighters show just announced for SEATTLE!
I'm really sorry to hear people's troubles today, I've been there, but really lucky I fluked out today. However.......there is a certain online broker already selling tickets to the Van show with the assigned seats??? The orchestra level tickets are selling for $567 bucks each!! Now THAT doesn't seem right!!
I live near Seattle and feel lucky to be so close that going to shows around here isn't a problem. That said, Vancouver, was my preferred venue and we actually had tickets in our cart and were filling in the credit card number junk, hit submit and the server crashed. AAAGGGHHH, maddening! I never got tickets even though we tried for Vancouver, Berkeley, and Santa Cruz for hours. But, I'd rather do something better with my money than pay those kinds of ridiculous prices, that's the kind of madness that leads to $1,000 dollar Hannah Montana tickets. We'll try ticketmaster for all of the 3 shows I mentioned earlier and see what happens. fingers crossed.
there are still tickets popping up... saw San Diego and Santa Cruz 1/2 hour ago..I wish I could go (and be allowed to purchase tickets  )
They are not available... the BUY button is a glitch...just like you many of us saw it yesterday and today and all we got was pending authorizations on our credit cards and no tickets because they were all sold out.

WHOA...
am i reading this right?
dont worry dude... you know he is playing seattle
Seeing Ed in a small venue like this is totaly worth all the money i am spending on travel. Ive never been to SF so its worth every penny. Plus the wife and I get a little time away!!

April 1st to be exact
yeah i agree, you know he is throwing in a seattle show, maybe two

if he does add a seattle show or 2.. the 10c should feel free to give me a pair of tickets. they already have 295 of my dollars on hold with no tix to show for it. i would feel alot betterabout not making it to those 2 l.a. shows if they put my money toward a hometown show....or 2
probably... to ensure the locals get dibs instead of people flying in from the east coast... obviously seattle shows would sell out quickly so i really think they could delay announcing shows...

Tacoma Wash is 3 hours south of Vancouver! Practically in your back yard!
Tacoma Wash is 3 hours south of Vancouver! Practically in your back yard!
It's between 5 & 6 hours with the border time included, plus gas and hotel expenses, plus the $65 per ticket, would have turned into a little coin and time for an Ed solo show - and like I said, not worth it to me for just Ed. No Seattle, then no aNiMaL. If Ed doesn't care enough to play in Seattle, then I don't care enough to see his solo show. It's not like Seattle is so far out of the way of this special little solo tour.

with an attitude like that, i wouldn't want to play seattle either

Same for us!! We live in Kelowna, about a 4 hour trip to Van. Kinda lousy it's mid week, but what is vacation time for!!! And we have driven for the Seattle shows as well and have never had any complaints about the travel, too excited, that's what being a fan is about!!!
That travel time riding your bike?
Vancouver is a sweet town, worth a trip even without a show!
It's a gorgeous town - I love Vancouver!! I was just there a couple years ago.
It is a 3 hours drive, not counting any traffic or any time at the boarder. Add in traffic and time at the boarder gets it up to 5 to 6 hours total. I have taken the trip many times in my life.
Still not worth it to me just to see Ed do a solo show that could easily also be in Seattle. Pearl Jam would be a different story. Ed on his own, while probably a really great show, is not the same thing as Pearl Jam. And like I have said many times, if he doesn't care enough about Seattle to do a show here, then I don't care enough about his special little solo tour to travel to go see him.
did anyone else get the email about tickets too late? im a pretty upset i missed the tenclub sale because they didnt bother to send me the info until today.

Eddie Vedder will embark on a small, west coast, solo tour beginning April 2nd
in Vancouver, BC and ending April 15th in San Diego, CA. The Ten Club has
scheduled a pre-sale for eligible members and we wanted you to be the first to
know!
Ten Club pre-sale tickets will go up for purchase on http://www.tenclub.net/goods/ beginning at 10am PST on Monday, February 18,
2008. There are a very limited amount of tickets, so once sold out through the
Ten Club, your next available chance to purchase tickets will be during the
public on-sale.
what's funny is that I got the email from tenclub about this little tour on 02/19/2008 at 11:30 am telling me that I could get tickets starting at 02/18/2008. I'm in no way shape or form able to go to any of these shows but how is that proper notification? I feel bad for some of the horror stories I have heard here tonight. I hope it all works out in the end.
again with the I'm "better than" because I've been a member longer
that is complete bullshit, what does it matter when he/she became a member?
chill out man. i was asking because he/she may have just joined too late, as in after feb 14th. it wasnt meant to give off an "i'm better than" attitude. get over yourself.

Brian - I was just about to ask you if you wanted my extra tix...I guess I'll ask a few others before I open up my offer to the board.
BTW - I have some good news for the boots that I mentioned to you a while back.
