i signed up for the club for this sole purpose - buying tix early. Im not sure i would have if i knew this is the way it worked . . . .is it always like this? Even for full blown tours? Or is it just crazy due to the small venues and limited shows?
its not always like this, its the small venues and limited tickets

It's the lowest active # is the US for sure. Every time I go to a show that is done by seniority, I'm always the first # on the list, and I always get assigned the first tickets. I'm always VERY grateful for it.

LOL keep in mind, though, since you're NOT at every US show, you can't see it with your own 2 eyes but as far as numbers posted on the will-call windows inside venues during the Riot Act and WorldWide06 tours, the 1st group (lowest numbered) of 10C members had started with a 3-digit number on more than 1 occassion. and let's not forget: there are US-based members currently active who will GLADLY state they currently have a 3-digit 10C membership number :)

I have the lowest # in the Ten Club. It's sad that that doesn't seem to mean anything. I finally managed to get through at 10:30 to get one pair of tickets to the first L.A. show. I'm considering myself fortunate for that.

Normally, The Wiltern does not have any seats on the floor. Does anyone know if that will be different for these shows?

I am pretty sure there will be seats on the floor. I've been to like 4 shows there and they all had seating on the floor.

not so much to disprove him, just to state a case that there are members with lower numbers who perhaps may NOT have gotten tickets, and i suspect they'd NEVER broadcast that they have a 3-digit number and "expect" to have gotten tickets simply because of that fact, or argue that their membership number "didn't mean anything" as was stated because it didn't bring with an automatic guarantee of some sort to secure tickets,...

I'm going to try to give back my Berkeley tickets. They were the first ones that came available so I bought them right away. I live in Southern Cal, however, so I'm not going to make the trip all the way up there when there are three shows right around me. Has anyone ever tried to return tickets to the ten club? I doubt they will let me do it, but I hope they would rather have the tickets go to a fan than have the seats be empty.

Your authorizations will disappear in 3-5 days.
    Sorry for the inconvenience,

So if someone needs a friend to share tickets for LA ...

    hey...funny (not really)

i got the same exact email when I inquired. So i guess I eat the cost of my bank fees because i was charged 5 times too many

nope...was the same mess last year for the 07 Euro tour (actually worse, the site went down for 4 hours)..and similar the year before for the Euro leg as well.

I'm fearing the coming tour :( .. if at least they staggered the sale, not all tickets at once..

When you go to an outlet, the outlet is doing the same thing that you are..on the net trying to get them. They might have a better "in" but dont count on getting tix. Especially if the guy or girl that is getting them for you is a 16 year old pimple face that could give a rates a$$ whether you get them or not!!

There are a ton of fans that are willing to travel great distances to see this show. If you are not the type of person that would travel across country for this show and you are just bitching because you didnt get the Van. show and you live in seattle...stfu!! Ive heard peaople suggest that only ten club member that live in the area should have had first dibs!! F U, there are a ton of us that CHOOSE not to live at STARBUCKS and LALA land. PJ or Vedder will never do a small show in Taos NM or WYO, NEB or any other small venue in no-mans land so consider yourself lucky that you have the opportunity to drive a couple hours to see an event. One of the coolest things ive seen a band do is play an event (foo fighters) in Roswell NM!! ROSWELL NM! I know its part of there vibe but to throw a huge party and play in a town like that is pretty big. You are all lucky that its a West coast tour and not a Great planes tour!!

hey - its berkeley, theres liquor and bars everywhere. There is the Pyramid Ale brewing place/restaurant with decent food, decent prices, and more importantly - good beer!(but pyramid isnt walking distance) If you just want any bar, there are tons in berkeley that are close by the venue. Although, the party bars are in SF, most in the Mission District, but i dont know how live it will be on a Monday.

  • I'm really sorry to hear people's troubles today, I've been there, but really lucky I fluked out today. However.......there is a certain online broker already selling tickets to the Van show with the assigned seats??? The orchestra level tickets are selling for $567 bucks each!! Now THAT doesn't seem right!!

I agree. So many have stated that "local" people should have first crack at "local" shows, but they don't realize that not all live where PJ tours. I'm lucky that I live close to venues they do, but you give excellent examples and it's one reason that they have never done that. Other than the site crashing and having to refresh for 3 hours, I have no complaints. I understand there aren't enough tickets to go around - I just wish it didn't take hours to find out if I got tickets or not. :)

I am not a get-on-a-plane-for-a-concert type of person AT ALL. I didn't try for the Vancouver show because it's not Pearl Jam. Ed solo is not worth the money or time to travel to another country to see him. If he doesn't care enough about Seattle to play a Seattle show, then I don't care enough about his solo show to travel to go see it. If they add a Seattle show, I'll try for tickets.
