    And James bond gets paid for what he does.

    That's what I always wondered about. All he's got is a lot of money, a grudge and a fetishised gimp suit. Batman is rubbish.

    to me a superhero is... well... a hero with super powers.

    and the fact that james bond gets paid for what he does is irrelevant. i was comparing only their gadgets and vehicles, nothing more. besides bruce wayne is rich. not to mention batmans basically a vigilante. or is that bruce wayne, the vigilante.

    and i wont be happy until i see the dark knight do the batussi or surf. :p:D

    though, I remember as a kid I believe Robin killed Batman in one of Robin's series but I'm not quite sure. Maybe a comic geek here can confirm that...?

    Yeah, Batman is just the kinky or camp version (depending on which interpretation you prefer ;) ) of Inspector Gadget! :p

    I prefer my superheroes to have super powers but I still like Batman. :D

    Some would argue that Batman has superhuman levels of intelligence and physical ability. And any one "man" that can devise a way to take down the entire JLA (and see it actually work when put into practice by an enemy) is a bonafide superhero. :)

    Sure he is. :p The only way Batman works as a concept is when it's played for camp laughs, like with Adam West and young Burt Ward. That was the excellent thing. :D

    oh dont get me wrong. i like batman cause in some ways hes reminds me of me. i just have residual hilarity left over from the tv series. the fact that he has this dark side is very appealing to me.
