dehydrating the security council...pure evil genius. and how lucky for the dynamic duo they rehydrated the evil henchman with hard water. and that batman learnt that lesson BEFORE he rehydrated the security council.
between this and HR puf'n'stuf my childhood gay quota was complete.

I loved how he deciphered the riddles... "An egg... a container... a container of all our hopes and dreams... THE UNITED WORLD BUILDING!!!"
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.
when i was a kid i was a severe batman freak. loved the tv show, as campy as it was. i even had a little batmobile i would take everywhere with me, it in my little purse lol
the batman character has always appealed to me and has always been my favorite out of 'em all for the fact that he doesn't have any superpowers. he's just a badass.
(and christian bale in that batman outfit.....f'ing HOT. like, damn baby)
Iron Man and Captain America, to name just a couple, don't have any superpowers either. But there all still superheroes.
re:captain america. a test subject in project, Operation: Rebirth, a top secret defense research project designed to create physically superior soldiers. Rogers accepted and after a rigorous physical and combat training and selection process was selected as the first test subject. He was given injections and oral ingestion of the formula dubbed the "Super Soldier Serum" developed by the scientist Dr. Abraham Erskine. Rogers was then exposed to a controlled burst of "Vita-Rays" that activated and stabilized the chemicals in his system. The process successfully altered his physiology from its frail state to the maximum of human efficiency, including greatly enhanced musculature and reflexes.
i would class what happened to steve rogers within the super powers spectrum. he certainly wasnt the average joe.

As you rightly quote, there was nothing superhuman about him. And Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark sure ain't average joes either...
well both stark and wayne were rich. but thats hardly a super power now is it?
was bruce wayne physically changed in any way? as far as i know wayne was 'normal' physically. psycholgically, im not so sure.
as for tony stark... he did inject himself with a virus that integrated many of his suits functions with his own body. so theres his super power thingy. so youre right there, hes not an 'average joe'. but then again, i never said he was.

Is Tony Stark injecting himself with a virus any different to Peter Parker being bitten and infected with a virus?
When did this become a "serious" discussion?

BATMAN: Look, Robin - I have invented a new bat suit.
ROBIN: Why are there two small holes in the chest area?
BATMAN: Er, in case I start sweating.
ROBIN: Right. And what's with the studded dog collar?
BATMAN: Um, ah... amour. I mean armour.
ROBIN: I think you're spending too much time on the Internet, dude...
that movie is awesome. it's the first thing i think of when i think of batman. i even use that quote all the time.
