How close to the track are you?
This is my first live race so I expect to come out of there with a good sense of 'where to buy' for next year!

    very close, ten rows up

rumor has it that is the best turn, with views of the pits, pit exit, start/finish, and the first turn after the start!

This is my first live race also, but the guys Im going with have been going for the last five years or so, they said that corner is the best.

We should try to say hello over that weekend!

very psyched for the return of the races

    and reasonable time zones!!!!

    Live races!

I dont have any particular alliances (sort of a honda fan), but it would be nice to see a competitive race with a couple of lead changes.

I am loving the BMW challenges this year.

Yeah it's good to see the BMW's and Williams near the front this season.
The 8 am Eastern times are also much better than 3 am, although I just caught the replays anyway.
I'm a big Ferrari fan, and the only team I don't like is McLaren (Hamilton is ok by me though) and I'm not an Alonso fan.

I love getting up early on Sunday morning to watch the live races, its the only quiet time in my house with two kids. Plus I prefer to see em live if at all possible.

Gotta love the Ferrari's those machines are just incredible.
Being a ferrari fan I cant imagine why you dont like McLaren or Alonzo ;)

I just want to see good competitive racing-my one complaint about f1 is that there is not enough passing.

A little better this season in terms of competition - Williams' Kubica has come third 2 races in a row (grabbed pole last race), the BMW's are looking better than ever, and you've got the usual Ferrari/McLaren front runners.
Everyone is expecting Renault to step up again, but so far nope.

Yet another messy race, but another 1-2 finish for Ferrari.
Koveleinin's crash was a little on the scary side..

I enjoyed the race, CRAZY crowd.

I was hoping Alonzo would make a run, but it never really happened.

That crash was very scary, its amazing that he wasnt more seriously hurt.

Perhaps they will rethink that nasty chicane after all the crashes and saftey car stints.

I thought he was dead after watching that crash....even more so when they showed the car and you could see the ground through the cockpit...wow!

I don't think the chicane was the problem, either. The drivers (some of them) this year are having a good bit of trouble without the assists.

And let me get this straight, Coulthard is nervous about what Sato is going to do? David Coulthard is talking smack about OTHER drivers being unpredictable or dangerous???? Double wow!

True enough, but there were a lot of clipped front wings in those turns.

Exactly right about Coulthard-he was all over the place.

Coulthard causes a lot of bumps or accidents, it's funny that he thinks he's so good, and annoying as hell that they spend so much time on him just because he's English.
You want to focus on a GBR driver, Hamilton is a front runner, why not spend time on him instead! Stupid broadcasts!

Then they cut off the interviews cause they ran out of time, but my local station overrides shows with golf....sigh....
