    To some people, it's not overkill, it's the ultimate freedom. Why do things by half? I certainly hope stickboy is more prepared and educated on wild food than Chris was... but it's stickboy's choice to make and I, personally, think it's an admirable one.

    Like I said I don't know anything about him at all so I've no idea where he's going to sleep.

    Yep, when did being a bum become the lowest common denominator anyway? the song 'society' certainly makes sense there... because when did all this 'stuff' measure where you fit? Why is it that the less stuff you have, the less of a person you are? The more stuff you have, it just seems to get cluttered :confused:

    Never slept in my backyard as a kid.

    I did fall asleep on my freinds driveway the nite b4 I left to live in Germany as a exchange student. :) No lie the nite b4 we left to fly home from Germany. About 6 or 7 of us went to watch the sun rise over the mountians near Rosenheim. We fell asleep very close to a road but did awake in time to see the sunrise. hehehe :D Awww memories. :)

    how do you figure? To me it just seems like the way we were SUPPOSED to live. You said you work what 10.5 hours a day? In the wild, you'd maybe do 4 or 5 HARD work though... but imagine how rewarding it would be to make everything from scratch from natural materials... to deal with nature all the time. Civilisation can just be a little monotonous at times.
