    Sunday is going to be a great day...Phils will win the East and the Eagles will beat the Bears and USC wont be #1 :D

    sorry i didn't answer you before...it's just that i get asked this every year and usually several times in the same thread...

    when i was growing up we didn't get much nfl on tv. the super bowl was about it. lived in a very rural area with no cable. so we got a dish in the 80's and i had access to every game on sundays and found myself watching the eagles games more often than not. i became a fan of randall cunningham and especially the defense...eric allen, reggie white, mike pitts, clyde simmons, jerome brown. those guys were unreal. great defense, and the most exciting team to watch, in my opinion.

    anyway, later we started getting cable in the area and mostly they would show northeastern teams. the patriots, jets, giants and eagles for the most part. of course i skipped the formers :D and watched the latter. ;)

    i've been a fan ever since. the only shitty thing is that i don't have the option to watch any game i want on sundays anymore, so there are a few during the season that i miss. still, fox up here shows mostly nfc east games.

    i think i should have just saved my initial answer and cut and paste it each season and each time i was asked in the thread. lol :D

    p.s. go eagles! :D

    :D indeed! a couple of friends are eagles fans as well, but they have moved to different parts of the country. we'd planned at one time during university to get down there for a game, but always seemed to go on a different trip. we'll get down there someday! :)

    yeah, i would like to do the nfl ticket, but $ is an issue. my "sports budget" is usually reserved for mixed martial arts ppv's. i am fortunate enough to have the nfl network, though, so i do get to see the fast forward version of the game later in the week...not quite the same, though. ;)

    p.s. here's to the sweetness that is the eagles!
