  • Kevin Youkilis... most underrated player in baseball.... so damn good.
I was taught a month ago to bide my time and take it slow, but then I learned just yesterday to rush and never waste a day. Now I'm convinced the whole day long that all I've learned is always wrong. Things are true that I forget, but no one taught that to me yet

Would you fuckers lose already and give a guy from Baltimore a glimpse of hope until football season starts. The O's won four games in a row now, and haven't gained ground on shit. I also take back what I said about Matzusaka. That guy is money.

I saw that in the highlight reels. How schoolyard of A-Rod. That was so lame.

Why would it be a flop? In a short series, it's whoever's pitching gets hot that wins the championship.

The last team that won the most regular season games and win a World Series that year was the 1998 Yankees. So was every team with the best record in baseball that year that didn't win a World Series considered a flop?

Well considering they came in third last year - having the best record in baseball with a relatively young pitching staff (Lester is a rookie, Paps, Becks and Dice K are all 26) would be a successful year even without a World Championship.

I'm going with the Bill Simmons rule, you have a 5 year grace period before you can start clamoring about your team so since the Sox won in 04 - they have this year and the next two before we can start demanding a championship.

That said, I put a 100 at 8-1 before the season started for the Sox to win the Series so for me personally a non championship would be a disappointment. ;)

Nice to see that this thread is getting a lot of action in my absence. The fans come out of the woodwork when you have a 10 1/2 game lead on your division at the end of May!
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

The so called Yankees fans haven't just fallen off the wagon, the whole F'n wagon has fallen apart. Gotta love it!!! I think I enjoy the Yankees suffering even more than us being in 1st. Joe Torre should cry maybe that will get the team to play.
