    Putting it on is not much of a problem. It's when she flops on her side that I'm kinda f**ked. She just lays there and will not get up... not even for a treat! :mad: :rolleyes:

    I really don't know if I have the fortitude to keep trying. She's not too bad on a choke collar. The little shit. :p

    Looks like a similar idea to the Halti http://www.companyofanimals.co.uk/halti.php which we used with our boxer many years ago. Made it possible for me as an 8-9 year old to walk a powerful dog.

    Guess it's gonna take some training for you as well ... and maybe a bottle or three of Jack :p

    Charley HATED the Halti we got him. And he knew how to get out of extremely quickly, the litle Houdini that he is....Didn't work for him at all...

    However, the Lupi or something that goes around their chest is supposed to be much more effective. Our friends used it on their unruly Bernese and there is no pulling at all. And there's no neck strain...I've heard that dogs will not pull AT ALL with the chest version rather than the face version...I think I'm going to get one for Charley this Christmas....I don't want him running all over the ski hill again...

    I use the gentle leader when jogging so I have complete control. My Kodi hates it, but, she wants to go more. All I do is stand with it attached to the leash in my hand until she sits calmly, then I put it on her. Mind you, this took quite a while at first, but I didn't give up. Now it's a breeze. Even when she is completely wound up it takes max of a minute. She still doesn't like it at first, but one we're off she forgets about it. :)

    That's funny we walked the dogs tonight and Chloe is used to the leash that extends way out. While you're walking her she still thinks she's on that leash and walks fast...and stops...walks fast..and stops

    Trying to break of it but she was only walked with that type leash for almost a year

    Don't talk to me about dog hair :mad: :D

    He is a big teddy bear most of the time...but he has his moments. I'd say he's gotta be around 70-75lbs.

    He he he ..... Petey had him by 20 pounds at that age! He does look HUGE in the photos, must be all fur! Nice head on him too....you can tell he is all boy!

    Speaking of Big Pete....we have got his weight down to a nice healthy 95# now. He is looking fit and trim now!
