    so a difference of 5.1 ypg is the difference between "fearing" the run and not?

    records the pats have the chance to break:

    points per game average - pats are averaging 38.7 points per game on the season and the record is 38.8 set by the 1950 rams.

    total points scored - pats have scored 503 on the season and the record is 556 by the 1998 vikings.

    team TDs - pats have scored 65 on the season and the record is 70.

    passing TDs - brady has thrown 45 TDs on the season and the record is peyton manning with 49.

    receiving TDs - moss has 19 on the season and the record is jerry rice with 22.

    consecutive regular season wins - pats have won 16 in a row going back to the 2006 season and the record is 18 regular season wins in a row by the pats.

    Don't the Cowboys have an outside shot at the 556 scored in a season? I know they haven't scored less than 24 in a game all season, which speaks to the incredible nature of what is happening this year.

    early line is anywhere from 24.5 to 27 points.

    that line is still way too low - who in their right mind is going to take the Jets and only 24-27 points? I would think it would have to be in the 30s before I'd even consider taking the Jets.

    and what will the line be next week against the Dolphins - jeez I'd need 40 or so to have any thought of taking the Dolphins.

    At this point I think it would be disappointing if it weren't 17-1 Dallas vs. 18-0 NE for the National Championship err...Super Bowl just because it would be ridiculous for that to be the case.

    The Patriots' game against the Dolphins on Dec. 23 has been moved to 4:15 p.m., the NFL announced today.

    The game was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. By moving it to 4:15 p.m., the game will be seen in more homes nationally.

    The Redskins at Vikings game was flexed to 8:15 p.m. that day as well, replacing the Buccaneers-49ers contest.

    i know that, but i just think the idea of two teams playing with a combined record of 35-1 would be pretty sweet, and might actually make the super bowl worth watching for once in our lives.

    I figured it out. Brady is not really on the field. It's a mechanical hologram figure that he manipulates from his living room with a Playstation 3 controller as he sits nude and has Gisele feed him grapes and cheddar cheese cubes by hand.

    It's the only way to explain his video game like numbers. This is the best football team I've ever seen....until the Cowboys spank that ass in the Superbowl;)

    It would be a legitimate college football line...like one of those late night Hawaii vs. Fresno State at home. I'd take the pats and the over for a decent amount, and dallas (money line) and the under to try to hit it big.
