but he's not an idiot. it's just that he's got an alter-ego problem. which is cool... when he's on your team though
i liked how the pats were responding, "oh this isn't the superbowl... and no one's won anything yet." and "they're a great team" "we're a great team" "it will be a great matchup for the fans." i liked their great professionalism. kinda like the spurs.
anyways.... i think the game will end close, despite popular belief... only if the cowboys or romo don't turn it over like they did. it was just one game anyways. and i don't think he'll keep it up like that. i think he'll bounce back. just like he bounced back in that same game.
i mean, think about it. 6 turnovers and still have the confidence to throw 309 yards with 2 touchdowns and bring the team back to field goal position. that says something. i thought they wade was gonna put someone else... and it almost seemed like he would.
my predictions: the game will end with a field goal.... yep sorry pats fans... i know you want a blow-out but i don't think so. you'll still win.

I saw Ellis Hobbs on ESPN ... he's had a few glasses of the Kool Aid ... "This ain't a superbowl preview ... it's week six ... in a long season" ... good boy Ellis!
Honestly, it really ISN'T a big game ... if there's a game to lose, for playoff seeding, you'd much rather lose to a team not in your conference. Obviously, you want to win every game, but ... it wouldn't be heart breaking for either team to lose ....
But as I stated earlier in this thread ... I think the Pats are out to make a statement this year with all the "Billicheat" video scandal, I think they want to steam roll everyone, this team looks more focuesed then any of the the 3 superbowl teams (just need to reel in Merriweather's attitude and Rodney's personal fouls) ..."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

yeah, no one's saying it's a "big game" like it's a must win... it's simply that this game might get good. and that's what i'm hoping to see. and the game might decide who's the better team. maybe... but not necessarily. But as I stated earlier in this thread ... pats bills score
and cowboys bills score?Let's not be negative now. Thumper has spoken0 -
deadnothingbetter wrote:ut not necessarily.
i don't think, however, pats will steam roll the cowboys.... i think they're gonna struggle a bit... maybe a whole lot. maybe have an ugly win.... maybe an ugly loss.... who knows... but i don't think and am not convinced by any means pats will completely dominate if romo doesn't turn the ball over.
going from the bengals recieving core and facing antonio gates (now facing witteN)
and getting harrison back with 1 game under his belt for NE
i dont know how the cowboys will score much
17 points for the cowboys O tops
demarcus ware is in for a long dayLet's not be negative now. Thumper has spoken0 -

i think this game will be a low scoring one
and for the record, cowboys still have a solid good chance of winning. they beat the team with an undefeated record last season. and now this year, they're undefeated and facing an undeafeted team just like last year it's a bit funny to think that the pats will smother and dominate the cowboys. This isn't the land of opportunity, it's the land of competition.0 -

i do think they're going to steam roll them
romo is going to be afraid to make a mistake... which will lead to sacks... and usually the pats cause a fumble along with their sack

suns beat mavs, mavs beat spurs and spurs beat mavs. rock, scissors, paper.
get the picture? it really doesn't matter. cowboys should've and were the favored ones by a large margin against bills. no one expected for bills defense to turn out that way.... no one expected romo to turn the ball over that many times. go figure. This isn't the land of opportunity, it's the land of competition.0 -

football is always about turnovers
doesn't matter if it's romo or if TO fumbles it as Harrison decapitates him?
rarely do you lose a game where you win the turnover battle
unless you are buffalo with that awful offense
can you imagine the score if romo throws 5 picks to the pats?Don't Believe Everything You Think0 -
Don't forget the fumble also. Gotta give him credit he never gave up.

but i agree.... 5 picks.... blowout for cowboys. but just cause he had this terrible game it doesn't mean he'll keep it up. he was the second highest rated quarterback next to brady.... don't forget. not until monday night's game. This isn't the land of opportunity, it's the land of competition.0
