    well... i wouldnt call bruce wayne a skank. plus i have a problem with superman. though not nearly as big as the problem as i have with lois lane being so stupid she cant work out that clark kent and superman are the same person. :D

    Batman is a real superhero.

    I know he doesn't have superpowers, although he seems to be faster than average people. I remember a scene in the animated series where our friend the Caped Crusader is talking to Detective Harvey Bullock. Bullock briefly turns his head and wipes a fallen leaf off his shoulder, when he looks back to where Batman was standing he notices Batman is vanished into thin air (in a second!). I tried this as a kid and as a teenager and in the few years of my adult life and have not been able to do this, though I am quite athletic and rather fast.

    The TV series were brilliant. I watched them with my friends, we were usually baked and I guess you'd need superhuman powers to make anyone laugh as hard as we did.

    And Rhino, to think I was going to vote for you. Tsk tsk...

    i said i am always disappearing FROM crowds, not IN them. :)

    i dont know what it is about superman i find perturbing. the best i can figure it, is that its cause hes an alien. hes not earth human. aside from kryptonite hes invulnerable. he was born super. he doesnt really have a dark side. i guess i just cant relate to him on any level.

    Rhino, i gots to say that my world fell apart a little bit when i read your input to this thread.

    it was going so well until this....Batman owns. all other superheros are just lucky. Batman earned it. Nobody fucks with him.

    Oh, I have no problem saying that Badman is some sort of be-gimped badass. As a hero, I can understand the appeal. But as a superhero, he's shit. :p Does putting on a costume really make someone a superhero? That's like putting lipstick on a tramp and calling him a supermodel.

    exactly my feeling. it's easier to bust a move if you have some magic power....takes more effort if you're a regular guy (physically anyway)
