    That's a possibility. But that would be awfully impressive because he was just as shocked of the plane crash as everyone else in Otherville.

    We did, but the people on the island didn't. Sawyer's reaction was priceless.

    With everything we know, there is a ton that the losties don't know i.e. Jack and Claire being siblings. So even though Locke revealing about Walt was old news to us, it was a step forward in the storyline.

    i was under the impression a lot of time passed between the flight crash and them finding the fake one. would've given ben plenty of time to stage that...wouldn't put it past him.

    True, I think in the online game a month or so passed or at least a few weeks. I didn't even think of it that way.

    why would you have a physicist, ghosthunter (medium), and a palenantologist togther on an exploration of "an island"??? That's my big question now....

    Other thoughts.... Indian Ocean has been ground zero for some nuclear testing.. is this a result of said testing?? or could this be similar to the "Philadelphia Experiment"?? Again thinking aloud...

    Juliet can't come back (IMHO) because she wasn't on the plane... she can't be part of the Oceanic 6.

    Locke's and Ben's look after Hurley said the shack was the other way... it was priceless. Hurley is the new threat to Ben.

    You would have the medium, physicist and archaeologist together to unlock the secrets of the island. Besides finding Ben, I think their secondary objective is to figure out what the heck is going on there. And if a few people say 6 get rescued, that's fine with them.

    Good call on the Philadelphia Experiment. I tivo'd that like 6 months ago on the History Channel and I may have to rewatch that this weekend.

    Yep, as much I like Juliet, there is no way after lapidus and miles reacted that she is getting off the island through them. Maybe that is why Jack feels guilty in the future.

    And yep, Hurley is definitely a threat now to both Locke and Ben.

    But aren't the three the physicist, the ghosthunter, and archaeologist/anthropologist all good candidates to be able to study in the original Dharma Initiative?

    So, the Physicist would study in electromagnestism, the ghosthunter in parapsychology and the anthropologist study Utopian society. Now if they were part of Dharma, that would explain why they had the gas masks after what happened to Dharma after the Purge and why they are looking for Ben.

    I think that the 4 people chosen to take the journey to the island mean something.

    1. The ghost hunter - Maybe he's there to communicate with the dead. Maybe everyone on the island is in fact dead.

    2. The paleontologist - Maybe the castaways are caught in a time-warp. Maybe she is there to prove the existence of people on this island in a past life. The people being our friends from 815.

    3. The physicist - There to prove how everything is possible. Maybe he represents the scientific explanation of flight 815.

    4. The pilot - I think he represents the real. Maybe everything on the island is real. He is there to represent that story.

    Each one of these 4 people represent a story. Paranormal (they're all dead), Time (they're all in a time warp), Physics (the reason they're actually on the island), and a would-be participant of the crash (they are living in today's world, and are indeed on an island).

    Good call on this.

    Interesting episode. Got excited when they showed Faraday at the beginning in Essex, Mass...used to live in the next town over...lots of good clam shacks in Essex. And when he saw the news clip of the discovery of 815, his reaction leads me to believe he is involved further in the story than just recently being hired by Naomi to go on the expedition...he knows more.

    Same thing with Charlotte and the Tunisian Dharma Polar Bear...these people must be connected to Dharma or something.

    Definitely loved the Benry and Locke reaction to Hurley saying the shack was over there.
