Honestly I am scared.
Floods, Huge fires, Global warming, food costs, Oil running out, everyone is at War. It goes on and on and on. This life on earth is really coming to an end sooner then you think. Its easy to ignore it and get all caught up in our own little lives but it really is a huge deal and I for one am scared for my wife and kids. If I was single, then it wouldnot be so bad but to have so much love and worry for other people now....man its scary.
You do not need to believe in religon to know that something is happening that is a big fucking deal and very real.
Meaning that this is all spelled out in the Bible whether you believe or not, it all seems to be happening like it said.

Sometimes I feel bad for the people who have children. I elected to not have them because I feel like the quality of life has been compromised far too much compared to when I was younger. Since I was a child I had a feeling I would live long enough to see the whole thing go up in flames.Idaho's Premier Outdoor Writer

people have been predicting the end of the world ever since the beginning of the world.
yea the world will end, hopefully in our life time ... think about it, if there's a best time to die, it's when EVERYBODY dies.Jam out with your clam out.0 -
Nope. I'm waiting for 2012 and the dawn of the age of Aquarius, when I can get my hairs out in public and love your sisters.0

I live here, just a few minutes away from the scene of what South London police say is the most violent murder they've ever seen.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/7487126.stm
Around 20 young people have been stabbed to death, 50 people in all in London this year. Most are within a mile of where I go to university. People don't mess around with words now. Stab first, ask questions later. I've been threatened with a pistol-whipping just for being with a friend who inadvertently pissed off some guy.
I'm back home in the midlands at the moment but I have my keys to my new house for next uni year and I haven't moved my stuff in yet because I feel like I shouldn't spend unnecessary time there. House might get broken into, I might get stabbed.
I'm not scared at all and generally feel safe there but I'm good at assuming I'll be ok. I'm sure I will be. Thing is, there's no reason why I shouldn't be the next person with a knife in his back. Most of these people are innocent kids. The same friend who nearly got us pistol-whipped knew one of the kids who was murdered the other month. Wasn't in gangs, never carried a weapon. Just an ordinary kid.
World is going to shit :(
Also, some kid I went to school with was killed in Afghanistan the other week. He was only 20. I remember him as a 14 year-old. Stuff like this shouldn't be happening.
So yes, I'm nervous about what's happening in the world. But what can you do? Grit your teeth and get on with your day."I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0 -

99% of the people will deny that something is wrong until it directly slaps them in the face and then they will want to blame someone else for not taking care of the problem.Idaho's Premier Outdoor Writer

sure, they're different to you now because you're living NOW. what the fuck do u care what it was like in Medieval Times, for example? what connection do u have to those times? None. People were just waiting for the earth to swallow them up back then ... and in the '60s, many believed that the counterculture was a sign of the end of times ... WWI was another ... as was a thousand other moments over a thousand other years.Jam out with your clam out.0 -

Yea well I do the best I can with my shit and do take notice with whats going on in our crazy world. I have nephews and a niece that I worry about how things will be for them.0 -

There will no longer be Oil in 50 to 100 years. We have already peaked and we are using more oil every year as well as third world countries, the more they get advanced, the more oil they use also.
We are all just eating up our resources until its all gone. Its in our nature.Get em a Body Bag Yeeeeeaaaaa!
