I am not gonna try to convince you. Just wait and see. Remember what you said here today.

That is the exact approach I have these days. I have been hip to environmental and over population issues for 20 years and I used to try and educate people as much as possible. I thought I could help. I no longer try. Now, I'm just waiting for the shit to hit the fan so I can watch all the dumbfounded dipshits scurry around in a blind panic.

ok so if the world ends soon, you predicted it, right?

the world could end at any time and it has nothing to do with predictions or circumstances ... it has everything to do with percentages.

one day it will end. it has to, because that's what things do ... they end.

    HA! What? Are you serious?
There will no longer be Oil in 50 to 100 years. We have already peaked and we are using more oil every year as well as third world countries, the more they get advanced, the more oil they use also.
We are all just eating up our resources until its all gone. Its in our nature.

Hmmm so you are worried about oil possibly running out in 50 to 100 years???.... yeah I think I'd have more pressing and current issues on my mind.

I am not predicitng anything. Just look at whats happening and you can see whats going on. Fuck we are running out of food! Do you know that in some countries they are actually running out of fucking food? Even natural grown ones b/c of the crazy weather that the earth has been having.

Yea but I can only worry so much. I have my own fucking problems to deal with. LOL :)
    amen lol

and the world has gone thru turmoil consistently since time immemorial, there's nothing unique or special about right now except for the fact we're living thru it. imagine how people felt during the plague, they must have thought the world was over.

Yes, the short sighted human approach has been doing a bang up job so far. I say we stick with it...

You do not need to believe in religon to know that something is happening that is a big fucking deal and very real.
Meaning that this is all spelled out in the Bible whether you believe or not, it all seems to be happening like it said.

it's true, it is in the Bible. and people have been predicting the end for a long time, but it seems that our generation is different. i try not to think about though, 'cause i tend to be a conspiracy theorist also and my thoughts will get carried away. :o but something is definitely happening.

recently i discovered this bit of information about the earth's core and axis. i don't agree or disagree, it's just interesting - http://english.pravda.ru/science/19/94/377/15198_earth.html

I'm not saying to not look into and develop alternatives to oil but I'm sure as hell not going to waste time worrying about the possibility of oil running out in 50 to 100 years. There is quite a difference between the two....

Ohh wait, one of the major alternatives to oil, being pushed, is actually causing some food shortages... hmmm that's weird.

well the mayans predicted 12/21/2012 as the end of days, their calendar ends on that date. and there are other cultures that point to that date or at least that year as when it all goes to fire.

    oh well lol

just do the best you can, be considerate to the earth and to each other and cherish every moment you have....that's all you can do, really.

there you go again, citing a problem of today and thinking that it is only a current problem.

there has been poverty and famine everywhere and forever. I'm sure when The Year Without a Summer occurred, all of the people affected by it thought the world was ending. And all those Irish, when their potato crop went rotten, they also thought their world was ending.

Hard times come and go. luckily, the human race has been able to overcome it and repopulate. Maybe next time we wont be so lucky ... but i like to think that there's always a chance for some real scrappers to survive.

and if not, like i said, what better time to die then when we all die. :)

If I was single, then it wouldnot be so bad but to have so much love and worry for other people now....man its scary.
    .

yeah, because single people have so much hate for other people (???).

I am concerned about climate change, but as war and whatnot- while it's terrible it's been going on forever.

lol. This stuff has been going on forever. It's just that now we have cable news to shove it down our throats all day long. ;)

Turn off fox news and take your daughter outside to play for a while. You need some fresh air. :D

    Honestly I am scared.
Floods, Huge fires, Global warming, food costs, Oil running out, everyone is at War. It goes on and on and on. This life on earth is really coming to an end sooner then you think. Its easy to ignore it and get all caught up in our own little lives but it really is a huge deal and I for one am scared for my wife and kids. If I was single, then it wouldnot be so bad but to have so much love and worry for other people now....man its scary.

there have been floods, fires, starvation, and war for as long as human beings were here. we just get news of it quicker now. the bible's got nothing to do with it. and life on earth will be just fine. maybe not human life, but so it goes. i'm not single and i still don't give a fuck.
