My family are there. Got a call yesterday from the first practice session ... other than vrooooooooooom, vrooooooooooooooom couldn't hear much
Fam will be cheering for Lewis. So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?0 -
Massa! Good stuff, perhaps another story if it rains. Alonso was looking fast, too bad for that fuel line issue?0
-
Ridiculous.
Wouldn't mind seeing Force India gone next year, and Piquet replaced...0 -
I was pissed after Ferrari screwed up that pit stop. and of course Kimi lost the car again. Ferrari should replace him and F1 needs to change the rule for fueling during a safty car.
Alonso probably loves Piquet, since it was Piquet who turned the entire table around for him! hahah,
I would like to see Lamborghini and Porsche Join F1. That would be great.0 -
I must say that Massa is handling this situation like a real champion. Really good to see.

Human error in the Ferrari pits
System not to blame Massa insists
28/09/08 19:59
Felipe Massa has admitted that abandoning Ferrari's unique 'traffic lights' pitstop solution is an option, following yet another blunder in Singapore on Sunday, but the system itself was not the cause of the pitlane gaffe.
The latest mistake could cost the Brazilian the world championship, after he fell seven points behind McLaren's title leader Lewis Hamilton by failing to score at F1's first night race.
Massa pulled away from a pitstop too early, ripping the refuelling hose from the rig, knocking over a mechanic, and incurring a penalty for driving into the path of another car.
"It was not a technical failure, but a human one, so the same thing can happen with any system," the 27-year-old told reporters when asked if Sunday's incident might finally compel Ferrari to abandon the 'traffic lights' system.
"Of course we could return to using a lollipop, but today's problem was not about this," Massa added, explaining that because a mechanic pressed a button too soon, the green light on the driver gantry simply came on too soon.
"These things happen," he continued. "We are all human and we can all make mistakes."

Luca di Montezemolo and bernie ecclestone are at it.
----
Bernie Ecclestone, the chief mastermind of the night racing concept for F1, has hit back at Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo's claim that the Singapore Grand Prix was akin to a "circus."
Also lashing out at the lack of overtaking opportunities at new street circuits, and the farcical Safety Car rules, Montezemolo said last week that "all this is humiliating for F1."
But Ecclestone, F1's chief executive, hinted to Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper that the attack by Montezemolo was perhaps to divert attention from Ferrari's woeful showing under the city-state's floodlights.
"If the Ferrari President is right about the Singapore Grand Prix being a circus," he said, "then we have to be grateful to him for providing the clowns.
"
The 77-year-old is undoubtedly referring to title rival Felipe Massa's botched pitstop, when the Brazilian ripped the fuel hose from the rig and pulled it the entire length of the pitlane.
Ecclestone continued to fire: "After the weekend Ferrari had, their President should have shut up and kept his head down. If Massa loses the World Championship, he will know the team were responsible."
The British billionaire also slammed Ferrari's unique pitstop gantry lights system, used instead of a traditional lollipop, as "over the top."
"Why do you want to have some other piece of technology that can go wrong?" Bernie wondered.

I think he'd be hopeless at F1. He overtakes over the top, underneath and on the dirt, I think he'd shunt a few in F1.0 -

I think he requested another test for Ferrari a few weeks ago, but also signed for another 2 years in MotoGP, perhaps after that he will switch. and Schumacher enters MotoGP.
