She has more executive experience than Obama. That's fact.

What...Mayor of a Hick town in Alaska? Governor of 2 years of...ALASKA??? Went to 4 different Colleges in 5 years? Didn't have a fucking Passport until 1997!!!

Palin took a surplus state and plunged it almost 20 million dollars in debt in just 2 years!!!

    Hmmm....

    Obama.

    -US Senator
-Top of his Class Harvard Law
-Editor in Chief of the Harvard Law Review(Youngest ever as well as first African American)
    -Best Selling Author

In 1993 Obama went to work for the small Chicago law firm of Davis, Miner, Barnhill and Galland when he could have gotten a job with any major law firm in America. Obama also divided his time between lecturing at the University of Chicago Law School, writing a book, and returning to his pre-law school activity...community organizing.

Don't compare Palin to Obama because it only makes you look stupid

    Thanks

and yes, I think she was a great pick for VP....with her background it exposes Obama's lack of to a T and she is only running for VP

Then why aren't the polls continuing to climb in McCain's favor? It seems like with the crisis in the financial market, if Obama's inexperience is exposed for all to see he'd be doing even worse during a serious situation, not better.

let me guess - she hasn't given a press conference in nearly 4 weeks of campaigning because of a liberal media??

she is only a great pick simply because she reflects the republican base but she is by no means qualified to be vp or prez ... she's only left the country once and that was last year ...

Some of them are non-issues, but for the most part you get the jist and this is coming from a conservative, Andrew Sullivan, not some left wing media source. So tell me again why she is a good pick.

.....are you serious.....this is your argument? I have never left the country...can't afford it, like many Americans they probably will say the same.

    Fair enogh...how about these then:

I'm not an Obama supporter so I don't care what they say about him. You on the other hand are defending Palin so I ask you why is she a good pick.

And I beat you by 38...and he is running for President

Uhh, you DID read the actual analysis of those statements, right? Then again, you can't spell "enough" correctly, so I'm guessing you probably did not bother to read the entire document you posted.

I was about to post that. He posted a website that proved all the supposed "lies" Obama was telling are, in fact, true.
  • Nobody actually cares about Palin anymore. She was novel at first, but now people have realized that she is way way out of her league. Thinking about her trying to handle this economic situation with her Wasilla high school friends as her advisors makes me giggle.

She is old news and McCain's ploy of selecting a woman didnt work because she is Dick Cheney 2 and many people realize that.

Palin...yawn...go back to hating on people who don't ban/selectively edit books.

Why is it that I ask someone to defend their candidate of choice and the best they can muster is pointing out the other candidates flaws.

    A thought regarding Sarah Palin?

While she was mayor of Wasilla, rape victims there had to pay for their own test kits. Fact.

I'm more concerned that someone would use as evidence that Obama has lied a website that proves that Obama had told the truth in regards to those alleged lies. Talk about trying to throw whatever sticks, I mean if you do that you obviously did not examine the supposed lies for yourself to see if they were honest accusations or not.

Ok I will definitely give you that one. She was a good political pick but overall I think she was a horrible pick. In the end she will hurt McCain more than help him.

I think politically, if her sole intention was to energize a conservative base that had beforehand been lackluster for McCain, then it was a successful pick. If the choice of Palin was intended to do that AND draw over a fair amount of independent and/or Democratic women, particularly Hillary supporters, that seems to have fallen on its face. I've been thinking that the McCain campaign probably saw that as a happy byproduct if it did happen, but was probably mainly concerned with getting Limbaugh-types on McCain's side.

Unfortunately, I can't watch You Tube at work, so I don't know what she says here.

Does it have anything to do with the Fact that rape victims in Wasilla had to pay for their own test kits while she was mayor?

it's form a McCain Palin town hall ...

an audience member asks Palin, since she's been criticized for not having enough experience in foriegn policy, what specifics can she list that would help mitigate that criticism ...

Palin's response is that she will be ready ... and if someone wants to ask her specifics, go ahead and try ... essentially, avoiding the question completely. It's pathetic.
