If you were involved in a conspiracy, how much would it take for you to keep silent ?

It's never really a good conspiracy without a little He-man action in there somewhere.

But, to answer your question....yes...Donald Rumsfeld...present and accounted for.

tell me there isn't a striking resemblance.

You can keep a lot of people quiet on certain things... such as Black Programs in the Defense Industry. For almost a decade, the Stealth Fighter program was in the black. There were rumours of it... but even the best aerospace analysts that were outside the program had no idea what the actual plane would look like or be capable of doing. It was all speculation.
The difference between this and your scenario is that the people involved are devoted to the program and the nation. If the program resulted in the deaths of innocent office workers... it would have been almost impossible to keep a lid on it. Even if it meant criminal prosecution for violating a security clearance... criminal acts, such as murder, take a higher priority in most people's minds.

Say for example you did some work for the government, and then realized you're were embroiled in a conspiracy where something very terrible happened, and a lot of people died?

You're already working for the government in either a military capacity, or as a contractor, or hold position in office.

You are approached by a rather deadly serious group individuals from the FBI, CIA on more than a few occasions. You may even be told to go somewhere with them and witness a crime (murder or be involved unknowingly in drug trafficking) of which you are now told you may go to jail for the rest of your life if you get any ideas that go against national security, and some members of your family might not live so long if you get the bright idea to waste your time going public, where everyone will call you crazy anyways, and your life (and entire families reputation) will be destroyed. Also none of what you say will ever get into the media..

As well...the amount of hatred directed towards you (and your family) for the rest of your lives will probably make you want to kill yourself.

Now...would you talk or keep silent?

Sounds like a Bourne sequel. "Bourne Stupidity"? You can have top billing.

Thank you for being able to disagree without resorting to childish insults. It really speaks to your maturity level and confidence in your ability to make your points. :)

which you two think you've perfected, no doubt. :D

Rather than admit to their own powerlessness and irrelevance, or admit that they've spent the last fifty years or so electing leaders who openly handed their tax money to business cronies and golfed in Scotland while middle America's jobs were being sent overseas, the adherents to 9/11 Truth instead flatter themselves with fantasies about a ruling class obsessed with keeping the terrible truth from the watchful, exacting eye of The People."

Bush is telling us the truth. Governments are not corrupt. Especially in the past 30 years.

    of course....

Obey your leader...do as he tells you...all will be fine. your rights are useless anyways.

    There's a term for that.

In a pm...in which I wasn't even trying to have a civil discussion with you AND you were in fact bugging the shit out of me.

    There's quite a large difference.

Bush is a Mossad agent, planted in a sleeper cell by the same Rabbis who are tricking us into buying Kosher food.

Which leads me to wonder...what do you know about the issues really?

Can you contribute in a serious manner to any of these discussions at all?

Please, don't hold it all in.

Share your wisdom and knowledge please.

    thanks.

I think we should all try to be consistent and not just take issue when it's people poking fun at issues we support.

No, I cannot contribute in any serious manner to any of your lunatic rantings. I used to be able to, but your fantasies know no bounds, and it is impossible to actually have a dialog. When you are confronted with questions, you either dismiss them, or reply with non-sequiturs. So rather than banging my head against that brick wall, I prefer to amuse myself. Thanks for asking, though.

Right. I try to stay out of My2hands threads about Paul except to occasionally correct misinformation. I try to stay out of most of Roland's threads about fairy tales, but at some point those are the only threads to post in, so I do. But there is no way to have a serious discussion with the guy. There are no threads where there is respectful disagreement and dialog when it comes to him and his goofy ideas. So I don't even pretend to try. I do try to follow my parents' advice about not saying anything if I have nothing nice to say, but these threads have a way of becoming target rich environments, and I get sucked in.

I have made my points of which you are blind and spiteful

    hatred, malice, and contempt...
