Hillary beats Obama in 3 out of 4 States today

    Last night's primary results are misleading.

    Hillary technically won 3/4 states but Obama won so many delegates that his lead hasn't really diminished at all. Texas was split almost right down the middle.

    Hillary is starting to fight... well.. like a Clinton. Dirty, filthy, aggressive politics. Last minute commercials slamming Obama, and so on. Obama has so far abstained from those kind of politics (for the most part) and his refusal to lower himself to Clinton's level could pay off. Chances are that we'll see him getting dirty as well, sadly, because his refusal to play dirty could easily backfire.

    Don't forget the winning streak Obama just went on..

    The media's representation of who is actually the favor in this race shifts back and forth based on who won the last bought. They blow any victory or loss way out of proportion - for Clinton as well as Obama.

    If you want too look at numbers rather than media hype and reactionary, biased news reports Obama is at an advantage.

    I hope Obama continues to raise the tax return issue. The Clintons currently have litigation against them regarding campaign financing... put the Clintons away for good once and for all. The Rezco scam has nothing on the Clintons financial history...

    Obama has been the statesmen this whole time. Time for a body blow or two to curb her momentum.

    How did she defy the odds? A couple short weeks ago she was ahead in both Texas and ohio by about 20 points each. She won by 3 and 10! how is that defying the odds? Add to it the fact that after the caucus results are final, Obama likely walks away from Texas with more delegates than cunton, and your rhetoric here makes even less sense. Obama will likely win wyoming and most definitely take Mississippi by a significant margin. By a week from today, his delegate lead will be larger than it was yesterday.
    By the way, if you seriously think she beats McCain, you are seriously naieve.

    Obama is still around a hundred pledged delegates ahead of Clinton.

    plus the superdelegates are free to change their minds right up until they vote at the convention. I don't see a great majority swinging over to Clinton if Obama is ahead in the pledge delegate count. they have to keep a keen eye on how that might effect their own re-election chances the next time they face re-election

    For a bunch of folks who I always thought to have a reasonable understanding of the political process, this thread is rather disturbing.

    Hillary is still losing...badly. If she stays in this it's for one reason, to literally steal the nomination. She can't steal it if she drops out so she'll keep "fighting".

    BTW, Obama's camp said today that the gloves are about to come off. Hillary, of all people, should not have started a negative campaign. She's got so much PUBLIC dirt, PUBLIC information against her, she's just idiotic and desperate at this point to want to turn this campaign in that direction.

    This is exactly right. The thing is, the longer these Hill and Obama beat on each other, the better it is for McCain. They're doing his work for him.

    Hillary's campaign is inspiring. Every time she's gets written off, a lot of someones have had to eat their words. She does keep fighting however much some people wish she'd be a good girl and go home like she's "supposed" to. However, at this point, both candidates are a little desperate. Each wants to win, and neither can take the other out of contention. The truth is, people like them both. When Hillary's on the ropes, they come out in force. Those wins of hers weren't exactly paltry. Michigan and Florida governors are making big noises about getting their delegates seated. This probably will come to something. And who took those states by huge margins? Me, I do see a combined ticket in some form down the road. Do I care if Obama is at the top or Hillary? Not really. And I think a lot of people feel like I do. More people like them both than just hate Hillary. Hillary's "dirt" is out there and has been out there. She's done things. Mr. Obama has less dirt because he's simply done fewer things. Dirtwise, Hillary's well set. There is nothing he critics haven't found. In case you haven't noticed, the Republicans have been shoveling it for 16 years. Mr. Obama's campaign has nothing startling so far. Neither of the campaigns do...on one side because it's all been dished out and on the other side because how much can there be on someone who got into the fray in 1997?

    Well, I don't think that this can be denied. So, I hope they save some of their invective to fight the real opponent. Clinton is a woman, but I've read that Obama is actually the first female candidate to seriously run for president. Yes, I know. It's funny what people will say.

    Inspiring? I disagree. I see how you could come to that conclusion and everything you said is true, but Hillary is just too .. well, evil for me to find inspiring.

    She lies. Constantly. I don't know how many times her statement that "Obama's healthcare plan is not universal" has to be publically corrected by the man himself before she stops saying it. She claims to be fighting the healthcare industry but she's taken huge sums of money from them.

    She will say anything to get votes. She's a carpetbagger. Her campaign is in large part a smear campaign against Obama.

    That's not even getting into her vast and incredibly shady history...

    Just want to say that first off, I have no opinion either way but, it just seems hard to believe that America will put Hillary or Obama in the White House. I honestly believe that when it comes down to the actual voting, despite what people say, lots of people are gonna find it hard to vote for an African American or a female.

    Why don't we wait and see? And I'm not sure McCain is going up against Hillary. I have no doubt in my mind that Americans don't want 100 more years in Iraq and everywhere else the warmongering McCain would take us, nor do they want what they got with Bush. Your Mr. McCain shook hands with Bush today and then ran right out and took a shower to get the stench off him, so to speak. But, the stench isn't really going anywhere. We're diving into a recession, to make things worse for McCain. He's not winning squat.
