If you were involved in a conspiracy, how much would it take for you to keep silent ?

Say for example you did some work for the government, and then realized you're were embroiled in a conspiracy where something very terrible happened, and a lot of people died?

You're already working for the government in either a military capacity, or as a contractor, or hold position in office.

You are approached by a rather deadly serious group individuals from the FBI, CIA on more than a few occasions. You may even be told to go somewhere with them and witness a crime (murder or be involved unknowingly in drug trafficking) of which you are now told you may go to jail for the rest of your life if you get any ideas that go against national security, and some members of your family might not live so long if you get the bright idea to waste your time going public, where everyone will call you crazy anyways, and your life (and entire families reputation) will be destroyed. Also none of what you say will ever get into the media..

As well...the amount of hatred directed towards you (and your family) for the rest of your lives will probably make you want to kill yourself.

Now...would you talk or keep silent?

I'd get plastic surgery and move to Bali.
    NERDS!
  • Almost forgot.

Money is also deposited knowingly by you into your bank account, which has ties to criminal activity making you an accomplice...your word against theirs.

If you decide you don't like being wealthy for some reason, you will get completely obliterated in court in a game of he said/she said should you decide to try to prove anything. This money is tied to illegal activity that took place, of which you were present at the time, and there is evidence of that linking you to the crime.

In a nutshell you've been setup in ways you cannot imagine by the most powerful people you will ever meet.

So....your ass is grass, or you enjoy the money, and your life outside of jail, and try to forget......or do you go on a crusade of rapid self destruction?

    ?

also there is no hiding from these people....and they can spy on you at will... and very easily now. So you get about three feet off the starting line, and your race is over.

Robert McNamara's documentary "Fog of War" was amazing and gave great insight as to why the bomb was not needed against japan for usrrender... it also gave great insight into the Johnson white house during vietnam

Maybe it's because I'm 10x the man you can ever hope of becoming but I would not sit idly by knowing that I was party of a conspiracy that resulted in the death of innocent people. Some of us actually stand up and act upon our beliefs while other ramble on about conspiracies on the internet.

I wouldn't say a damn thing. First off I didn't do anything wrong so I would not feel guilty about anything. If they wanted to pay me and large sum of money to shut up then I would. I would not put my families life in danger for any reason.
Thats a lovely accent you have. New Jersey?

That's how it went in Eastern European countries during Communism. It wasn't about conspiracies, though. But they forced people to lie in court or they'd loose their jobs, or even their property. They threw people in jail for nothing and there was nothing you could do. They forced you to betray your friends and even family in some cases. They'd give your children education if you agreed, they'd be allowed more things. And if you didn't comply they took away your job, or your home... They'd pin a crime on you and people would either hate you or they'd avoid you because the same fate was waiting for them if they'd talk to you.

So you might want to stand by your principles but if you have a family and children, you might want to stand by them and not drag them into extreme poverty, especially if you know your claims will not be taken seriously.

    It's a difficult situation, that's for sure.
    THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!

You love to dish it out but when someone throws it back at you, you can't handle it. Absolutely spineless and sad.

No actually, what you said was truly childish and immature. Chest thumping....apes do it. Rather disappointing to witness.

I can take it plenty, and I have.
