Yes, and as a wise man once told me, it's on the internet so it's gotta be true.My whole life
was like a picture

chopitdown wrote:it can't be osama bin laden. It's all to simple. If you rearrange all the letters in his name you can spell "Baa Mansion Led" Baa is clearly in reference to the sheep that follow the government and the head of our government lives in a big white house or a mansion. So really, it was GWB who is the head of all the sheep who can't think and lives in a big mansion. You act like it's so hard to comprehend; IT'S NOT. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills talking with you people.

I will never take anyone seriously who uses the term "Lib".Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"

It is never used in a way not intended to get a rise out of someone. It's always half joking, half jab. It's as if someone who is liberal minded is supposed to get offended by it but at the same time not fully take it seriously because it's so cutesy. Look at every post where someone uses it in the title or to start off a thread. You'll see a trend of very similar posts. They are not usually very 'deep' posts, and when debated the original poster usually has nothing to back up their point of view with. The original post is usually a copy and paste of a conservative article, and the original poster 9 times out of 10 can't defend anything they say. I can tell what kind of post is going to follow if someone uses the term "lib".Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"

yea I hear ya. same way people refer to anyone who leans right (or even takes a second to hear the right point of view) as a neo-con0 -
A right-wing fundamentalist who bashes Democrats? I don't think so.

It was Mr. Prop A. Ganda
Diabetics don't age backwards...who does really?Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

No actually TV is the truth....watch more of it....buy the products it suggests too.
It's all individually and 3rd party owned by unbiased sources. But you know that already...Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions

so you honestly do not believe that was osama?0 -

How's that?
The point of the thread, as clearly stated, was that the rant given by the little hairy man who lives in cave in the middle east bears a STRIKING resemblance to the rants I recieve in my ten-club newsletters. Global warming...evil capitalists...American imperialism.
That was the point, and nothing more. You can read into it however you want to...i'm just making an observation.
as for you people who don't take people who use the world "lib" seriously...trust me...i don't take you seriously eitherAnd you ask me what I want this year

Actually no. It was either a double made up to look like him, or it's old footage that has been edited.
The video really hasn't made much of an impact in the world which to me says the source is questionable.Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

Well, I have to say, the folks here don't take your posts very seriously so I don't understand what value you get out of it. You would have a lot more credibility with other members here by stating your own ideas without hiding behind the skirts of Rush's BS, or even Kat (as in the post above). Just be yourself, for crissakes.

I am being myself by posting quotes by Rush, Glenn Beck, etc on a site here...i like getting your panties in a ruffle...and know that citing them does so....consider that the value I get out of it...i'm a smartass...that's who i am.
but i don't mean to do so in a mean-spirited way...I assume that most people don't take themselves so seriously that they seek credibility through message boards. just lookin' to have fun and learn other people's perspectives.
lastly, I've gotten to know lots of people here by "being myself" through pm's...but that doesn't work for some people. And you ask me what I want this year

I'm a beer drinker. Thanks for the martini offer, though.
I'm just saying, basically, and in a nice way, your shtick isn't working anymore so why don't you try something new?

if my "shtick" was getting old, i'd doubt that i'd get three pages of posts one day after posting a thread. you may despise my "shtick", but find it interestingAnd you ask me what I want this year
